I am in the process of looking for a new doctor. I get xanax prescribed for my anxiety and post traumatic stress. Please help me find a doctor that will continue. I have an autistic child starting high school next year, my oldest son flunked out of college and my daughter got a new car and someone without insurance hit it. Plus the stress of my job. I am going back to school in two days and am in desperate need of something to help me focus. Because of this problem, I ended up dropping out of this school a few years ago. Also I have major anxiety. I worry about everything, no matter how minuscule, have trouble sleeping because my mind is always racing. I have severe anxiety attacks and an insomniac. I literally pull an all nighter once a week. I am prescribed klonopin but i have too much anxiety for it to work fast enough. I need something stronger and faster. I am aware of all the effects as well as my parents. I just need a recommendation of a doctor who is at least not against prescribing it if they feel, which they will, I need script. Every doc I've met with here in Pittsburgh Pa will only take cash if they prescribe you xanax.. Very unethical but since I have insurance I would like to find a doctor to prescribe me the meds I need. I just moved to the Dallas area. I have congenital disc degeneration disorder. I suffer from muscle spasms and neuropathy. The only thing that truly helps me with my pain is valuim or Xanax. I have aniexty attacks as well as panic attacks. My regular doctor left the puyallup tribal health authority over a year ago, i was in jail for 9 months for some driving while license suspension charges, i get out and dr. ries had left and started his own practice in another city. I am 43 and had a laminectomy 6 years ago. After surgery i was referred to pain management and prescribed 50mg of methadone a day / 30 mg roxicodone every 8 hrs. / and 2 mg of xanax every 12 hrs. These combinations were just written to be therapeutic and brought my pain down to a level of 4 out of 10. I have been diagnosed as suffering from bi-polar depression. Everyday, all day the muscles in shoulders are so tight that I have continuous tension headaches that run up the back of my neck and behind my hears. I have tried deep tissue massages (last 2-3 days), ice/hot packs/pulse stimulators (don't work), acupuncture (4-6 hours), oral steroids (don't work cause weight gain), steroids shots in neck (4-7 days). All of the above is very costly and I have no relief. I have ringing in my ears, suffer from insomnia and can't sleep. I can be up for 48 hours without a nap unless I take medication.
