This is my first time on this site and i am hoping there is someone who can help me. I am 24 years old and I've been diagnosed with primary amyloidosis. It is a terminal illness and I am serious in need of help. I need a doctor that will prescribe pain medication as I am in an inordinate amount of pain daily. I was given a time line and don't want to spend what's left of my life in this amount of pain. I have united healthcare insurance and referral from a primary care physician, I'm just in need of a good pain clinic with a doctor that will take my illness seriously and help me. Hi, I am aware of the big florida crackdown on pill mills. However, I have legit pain and no insurance. So, does anyone know of a place that accepts walk ins with no insurance. I have areally bad back, herniated discs, crooked, sciatica, spondylosis a and 6mong other problems and excruciating pain. I was at a pain Dr. that lost his lisence and have tried so many places mostly by calling, and asking if they give pain meds. The last place I called said I would have to sign a contract so the DR could take me down 60% off what I am on!!!! Hi, everyone. I am a pain sufferer for over 7 years now. Due to misplaced drill while getting my wisdom teeth out. I have been to many pain clinics tried just about everything. I have not tried Soma's. I know a different drug name in Canada but Ambien in USA. I can't take those. 15 years of every benzo and Z drugs no way. Sleep walking,talking, eating. Was in a car accident with back and neck injuries. Have been given hydrocodone that doesn't touch the pain. I live in Arkansas and heard oklahoma pain clinics understand and are more compassionate. I am detoxing off of methadone and ive talked with my counselor and since i have pain issues that im going to have to address because of me detoxing off of the methadone,she(counselor) told me to check out some pain clinics were they can monitor my med use,but i would really like to be sble to find a pain clinic that would maybe give me 10-20mg of methadone in pill form just for the pain instead of going back on any kind of pain medication. I use to love marijuana but one day it quit working for me. It got to when I smoked it I would have panic attacks. So my marijuana days were over. My wife suffers from diabetes and cirrhosis of the liver, and hep c. She also is going to have surgery because she has stenosis; her spinal canal is blocked. What i need to ask you is: We live in Texas and i would like to get her medical marijuana because the doctor gives her Norco's and at night she is in tears because she hurts so bad. a nurse toldf me that where I live, in Chicago, there clinics where doctors simply dispense whatever you ask for ## It has been known to happen, but such occurrences are the reason that the government has made so many crackdowns on prescription drug laws. I don't know of any place that still does this, most have been shut down. They were usually called 'Pill Mills'. If you require medications to treat chronic pain, your best and safest bet is to see a pain management specialist that can help you. Are there any other questions or comments?

However, finding a doctor that will accept out of state patients isn't something that's likely to happen. Due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, doctors have to be even more careful about prescribing medications and most now require that their patients live within a certain radius of their office. And even if you did get a doctor to prescribe, most pharmacies won't fill it if you and your doctor aren't both located within a certain radius of their store.
