It's not just methadone it's all narcotics. Florida won't fill any narcotic. Believe me we've tried. We next day air the script to our family in minneapolis, they go to our pharmacy for us, fill and ship back to us. I live in Houston, TX (77092 area) and have called major, "mom and pop", even obscure pharmacies. I can NOT find a place that carries methadone! (10 mg. 120 ct.) I am so frustrated! After 18 years of filling my methadone prescription in Sevierville, TN., I can no longer find a pharmacy that will fill it because my Doctor is in another city than where I live. There was a large distributor who was recently shut down, due to questions over the large amounts of controlled substances they moved each month. My life was changed and filed with pain and I've got a Great DR. who has helped get my life back to as close to manageable. I am involved with chronic pain DEA. I do have broke Disk/Ankel/Devadid System. I do get Methadone/Ibuprofen /oxycodone for 18 years. ## Hi Steven, Sorry to hear about your chronic pain. I think under normal circumstances any licensed pharmacy should fill your prescription. It's not like they don't have the ability to (being a pharmacy and all), but whether or not the oxycodone's in stock when you get there is another story. Because that's something we can't always determine ahead of time (unless the doctor calls it in), it may come down to checking different locations in your surrounding area until someone can at the very least order your meds to arrive in a couple days. I have been prescribed 270 10mg. Methadone tabs for approx. 20 years after being diagnosed with Hep.C. After the orange wafers were no longer avaiable, the 10 mg. Tabs were prescribed instead. Where can I fill these prescriptions, (methedone 10mg and oxycodone 30mg at in NW Washington DC ## Methedone blocks opiotes, so it's beyond me why you would be prescribed the two together. You might as well throw away these prescriptions since DEA may fill them once, but you're opening yourself up a can of worms. Seek treatment. No DC pharmacy will fill these scripts unless you can show proof of cancer or are hospice. Again Methadone blocks oxycodone. Here's the bad news, there is not a pharmacy within NW DC that will fill those scripts. Try CVS. That's your best bet. The small pharmacy have to check with the DEA and it takes forever. I am using orally 10 to 20 mgs. daily of your methadone pills. I have allergic problems with talc. Do your methadone pills contain any talc? If so, do you offer your pills without talc? I have been prescribed methadone for pain management for 7 years. I use methadone for breakthrough pain that is not controlled by the morphine/clonidine mixture in my Medatronics intrathecal pump. Our local pharmacist has filled my prescriptions over the years usually with your 10 mg. larger modified rectangular pills.
