Hi, i'm a 27 year old female diagnosed recently with fibroadenomae in my right breast. My gynecologist suggested having them removed but i prefer not to especially since one is going to look smaller than the other. Another dr suggested i should take lutenyl. Will this drug help in getting rid of them without any surgery? I am so confused and dont know what to do? Hello,i was reported with few small overian cyst DR prescribed me novelon tablets for 3 months im almost done with the 2nd month pack .Now on my right breast i have got fibroadenomas 2.4cm ,they say that because of novelon but i am not sure so should i continue with NOVELON as one month is left.And is operation nessessary for fibroadenomas??. Thank You ## Hello, Julie! How are you? No, Fibroadenomas are really harmless, though some may get large and uncomfortable, so if that happens they may be surgically removed. Yes, they are partially hormonally dependent, but that doesn't mean they were definitively caused by the Novelon, they may have grown, anyway. What have you been advised on continuing it?
