Hi , My neice was getting fever during nights continously for 3 to 4 days , when we took her to doctor and conducted blood tests malaia and typhoid tests are negative. Doctor has suggested monocef 1g iv/im injection twice a day for 5 days,. we took the dosage for 3 days. Now i want to know whether 2mg /day is too heavy for 4yrs kid. ## Hello, Bp! How is your nice doing? How much does she weigh? At that age, antibiotics are dosed by weight and then the total amount is split in several doses, just like what the doctor has instructed you to do. And no, that actually isn't an unusual amount, at all. The FDA classifies this medication as being an antibiotic and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

I have just stated using methotrexate injections for RA after using tablets which gave me mouth ulcers and nausea. Have also used Arava and other RA meds without success . I am also on occasional predisalone as I gain too much weight and am a type 1 diabetic and blood sugars go up considerably. I also take 300mg of plaquenil each day for my arthritis. I would like to know how others are coping with the methotrexate, results and side effects??? ## We are all different, so Methotrexate works great for some people, but not for all, thus, the only way to see if it will help you is by actually trying it according to your doctor's instructions. The FDA warns that it may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, chills/fever, hair loss, and light sensitivity. Ref: Methotrexate Infor...

Long read, need help! 59 year of male diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis 2 1/2 years ago. Tried going Vegan and took the insurance-required Methotrexate for 3 months with no relief whatsoever. On the advice of my RA I started the 50mg injections of Enbrel. Within 2 days I noticed a big difference and was pain free within a month. Fast forward to a month ago. Started getting a fever to which I've seen as high as 103.3°. Oddly enough, the Enbrel stopped working at the same and went back to severe pain and stiffness within 2 weeks. Went and had all kinds of blood work with no infection found. All Covid & Flu tests were negative. So I went the emergency room 3 days ago and have cat scans, ultrasounds, MRI's and they cannot find source of the fever. Last injection was 10 day...

had a reclast injection12/8/09 I had shorten on breath after the body aches and slight fever is this normal? I have rapid heartbeat everytime I try to doing anything like running the sweeper, dusting & etc. ## Flu-like symptoms exist in about 15% of patients who have Reclast (meaning 85% don't experience it). Your doctor should have told you to take Tylenol the day of your infusion and for three days following the infusion. You should have also drank two glasses of water the morning of the infusion, and eat normally. The body aches have been seen in clinical trials, but this is the case for all drugs in the class (to include Fosamax, Boniva, and Actonel). FYI, when a patient takes Reclast, 61% of the solution binds straight to the bones where it's needed and the remaining 39...

Was given a steroid injection for right knee pain & was given lodine 2x daily & took glucosamine chondroitin with msm. Felt better in 2 weeks. Stopped taking med & suppliment but suddenly developed stiff achy muscles & joints, specifically backs of knees & neck. Have headache, fever, chills, shakishaking ness of breath (feels like I took in too much chlorine water @ pool-w/out swimming). Am normally healthy 59 yr old female, active swimmer, jogger & golfer. ## Hello, Menaches! How are you? Have you had this checked out by your doctor? It could be due to the steroid, but it's hard to say for sure. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, weight gain and acne. However, there is also a chance that it was due to the...

My daughter is in Mexico, Her 19 month old has been vomiting with a fever. The doctor there gave her these medications without and test of any kind. We need to know what they are and should he keep taking them The Netromicina was sent home with her in individual tubes for injections daily. ## i did a google search on the medicines you listed, and it seems to fit with the symptoms u are describing. the netromicina is an antibiotic used to treat infections, the butilhioscina is used to treat abdominal spasms (vomiting) and the espacil is used to treat nausea and motion sickness. so even though, i am not a medical doctor or professional, i would assume that ur daughter's child is safe, but if u have any problems or questions, it may be best to speak with a licensed doctor.

Hi, I'm on the 50mcg patch and my Dr. also has me on Norco 10. I want to get off the patch so bad, but I'm fighting a staph infection for the second time in three months. Back in May I had injections in my lumbar, and four days later I was in the hospital with 104 degree fever. I ended up having emergency back surgery to clean out the infection. By the time I went to surgery two days later (because my Dr.'s at the time are idiots) I was septic w/ 105 degree fever. Needless to say, I nearly died. When I finally got out of the hospital the second time, ( with NEW Dr.'s, my Pain Management doc put me on Fentanyl 50, and Dilaudid 2mg 3x a day, I couldn't function. So I asked my Dr to change my meds, she only changed the Dilaudid to Norco 10, one every 4 to six hours. Now...
