does anybody know if prenatal pills will make me fertile? ## Do prenatal peals make me fertile ? ## Because prenatal vitamins are not supposed to contain any hormones, they will probably not make a difference in fertility. They are mainly intended to give your body super nutrition so that when you bear a child, you won't become too iron or calcium deficient. Also, I've heard that hair and nails grow stronger, and there are some women who take prenatal vitamins all the time, not just when they are pregnant. I may be wrong about the no hormone part, since there are so many different kinds out there. If anybody hears otherwise, please let me know!

What is the effect of periods on male fertility? ## A female's period has no effect on male fertility, as explained by the NIH. It only affects hers, since most women will not be able to get pregnant, while on their period, since it is past their fertile time of ovulation. However, sperm can survive for awhile, so if it is near her time of ovulation and they engage in intercourse, she may still get pregnant. I was on Meridia for 8 years and while I thought at the time it was a life saver (it definitely does work for weight loss and mood stabilization) I now fear it could have had a negative impact on my fertility. Has anyone heard of this as a side effect or suspect it could be a possibility? ## Meridia contains the active ingredient Sibutramine and that is quite a long time to take it and it usually causes the opposite in regards to mood issues. I have 3 daughters and the 2nd and 3rd were conceived with Clomid. I am 39 now and my doc would not prescribe it again for me. I bought Furtile 50 from india in the foil packs with the rubber band and took it this week. Hopefully something happens as my clock is ticking like crazy.
