i am 31 yrs having pcos. i underwent ivf & had baby a year back. now for past 45 days i have heavy bleeding and also put on weight. doctor 1st advised me Meprate, since no improvement, again advised Meprate with Fefol Z. i was not advied for any ultra sound scan or any other test. kindly advise me i am n right path? ## Some blood work should be done to check what exactly is causing it, as well as an ultrasound. It could be due to a hormonal imbalance, but that's not really likely if the Meprate hasn't helped, since it contains Medroxyprogesterone. Have you visited an Ob Gyn or just a regular doctor for it? A general practitioner may not know all the possibilities involved. ## How long will the menstrual meprate 10mg taking the pill?

I m suffering frm Adenomyosis as per scan report of my uterus....i face difficulty for heavy bleeding with pain on 2nd n 3rd day of my period days and recover fully with no bleedng and pain on d fifth day of my period...stl I get a regular period aftr every 28days..my doctor prescribed me with Fefol-z capsule with Trapic MF tab fr three months n askd fr surgery too...i m scared n need ur suggestn..plz adv me.

Fefol-Z is a nutritional supplement, it is often given to pregnant women to ensure that they have enough of the vital nutrients that it contains to ensure a healthy pregnancy. Hey, I want know if fefolvit tablets are used by unmarried women as it is mostly prescribed in pregnancy? I am 23 and weighing 87 kg trying to loose weight, I go to the gym 7 days a week and eating a 1200 cal diet, but facing hairloss and split-ends, also my skin is dry and dull. Someone suggested me these tablets. Can i take it as i didn't have any blood work performed nor did I check my Hb level and iron level....? Now i want to know if these tablets cause weight gain or if it would stop my weight loss? If it is I'll stop using it....Also, does it cause any breakout and pimples? If u wanted to take fefol, they suggest that u should not take it with milk - what is the reason? I wanted to know this personally. ## Felol is an iron and folic acid supplement. The reason it should not be taken with milk is because the calcium can lessen the amount of the active ingredents that you absorb. So, you may not get the full therapeutic dose required. My wife 28 weeks pregnant. Recent usg report shows liquor volume above normal. Doctor prescribe above noted medicine. ## I apologize, but I am not sure what you mean by liquor volume, could you please post back with more specific details? The Evion, Calcimax and Fefol Z are all just nutritional supplements and they are commonly given to pregnant women to ensure that she gets enough nutrients for both herself and the baby. Duvadilan contains Isoxsuprine and it is often given to help increase blood flow to the uterus. Ecosprin contains Aspirin and it is usually given in these cases as a blood thinner. Has she asked her doctor to explain more?

I'm 41 yrs old. I had no babies till now. We did ivf and got triplet pregnancy so it is precious for us because we got pregnant after 20 yrs of marriage. Now im 22 weeks along and my babies are ok, im on asa, fefol calcium, hydroxyprogesterone, cyclogest 400, od, my obg doc told me to start bid from 22 weeks till delivery. I'm worried about side effect of tablets. Is it safe for long term treatment and can it prolong labour and prevent pre term labour, despite no contraction no discharge? Thanks.

i am 65 years old. i take fefol iron capsule daily. is this ok to continue? i have been taking fefol on and off since last child born 36 years ago. i dont appear to have side effects but if i stop taking i notice my poo being quite pale.
