Are they a good combination? My BP was always around 120/65-75 and suddenly it went up to about 150/93. I took pharmapress 10mg and fedaloc sr60 for months. I had prexum plus in my meds cabinet and took one after taking pharmapress and fedaloc as always. Now my BP is down again to about 130/74. It seems the prexum did help. What now? ## The problem is that the Pharmapress, which contains Enalapril, and the Prexum Plus, which contains Perindopril, are both ACE inhibitors, which means you are essentially doubling up on the same medication, which could cause you to take too much, and overdose. Im using fedaloc and cozaar and i beliewe that cozaar give me angiodema and some pharmasist ask me to go to a Dr for perscription for Pritorco and the said to me that pritor wil allso give angiodema0 ## Hello, Rika! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you've experienced. Generally, edema can be a side effect risk from all cardiac and blood pressure medications. As reported by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and increased urination. You just kind of have to try various ones, until you find which ones work for you, without causing such unwanted side effects. high blood pressure medication ## My mother was told to add this medicine to her current blood pressure medicine - what is the purpose of Prexim 4mg - any side affects? ## My Dr prefer Prexim4mg instead of Cozaar or Pritorco because of Angiodema and Brogispasma. And dr prefer prexim becauce of angiodema and brongismaAlready submit ## Prexim is list as containing Cefexime, which is an antibiotic, it is not used to treat high blood pressure. Can you all double check the name and post back? The NIH lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and diarrhea.
