I took 1 1/2 roxy 30 mg saturday night. I am 105lbs / 5'3. I took 1 10mg oxycodone on sunday @ 5pm[was prescibed btw] and it showed up in my urine test monday @ 7pm. I have another urine test tuesday morning, will it still show up.?! I took 3.5 mg of oxy Tuesday morning. I don't take it regularly. I had a pain management test on Thursday morning. Am I going to test positive? I've done the math for the half life of oxy; 3.5mg\2 until less than .01 then 4.5x9 for the number of half lives and I come up with 40 hours before it's out of my system, but I know most things I've read say 3-4 days. It should naturally be excreted from your system in a matter of days (usually within 3-5 days); while cannabis can take as long as 30-90 days for the most tolerant of users. Unfortunately, drinking a lot of water will only help the get the oxycodone out of your system faster, since it is excreted through urine. Oxycodone was 30 mg every 6 hours or prn. Oxycotin is one 20 mg every 8 hours. It stops working at 40 mg OR 20 mg at about 5 hours.I had a RouxN Y Gastric Bypass several years ago, and my metabolism is fast. Could it be that time released pill isnt working because of the compromised gastric system?I will always need pain meds due to severe double curve scoliosis. i failed a drug test due to not having the percocet in my systemthey said but i did i took the sast one 2 days before going to the doctor ## If you take them sporadically and 48 hours has passed, before the test, then it is highly possible for them to be out of your system by then. The only way for it to last longer would be if you were taking them regularly, every day. However, the Oxycodone in them does not have a long half-life and can clear your system very fast.
