Hi. I am normally using ovral, but when I went and fetched my new months pills they give me Famynor. I don't know Famynor. They told me it's the same as ovral. Is it true? ## is Famynor and Ovral in the same generic class? Is it the same products just different trade names? ## Hello Channa, I hope you are doing well. My gal was on her periods she took the white pill from her friend to stop her period for that day. That didn't work its been 8 days now, her periods they just not stopping. And shes not on any kinds of contraceptives. It was her 1st time taking that pill on that day on her periods for that matter. famynor white pill ## Taking one tablet is not going to stop her period, according to NIH reports, it can actually mess with her hormone levels, and disrupt her period to make it last longer, or be heavier than normal. Hi, I've had abnormal/irregular periods since I started my periods. They've been on and off since day 1. I would go for months without any sign of bleeding or spotting. Three years back I would spot for weeks and after it would be a normal period; last year an unusual spotting started to come in a brown color. It went on for weeks as well. I then went to the nearest clinic n got famynor which stopped the spotting. Hi. I've got a loop in but some months get an irregular, non-stop bleeding. The nurse gave me famynor, instead of ovral which they normally use to give me, when this happens. I normally just drink it for 2 or three days until the bleeding stop so did the same with this famynor. But now my period has returned after a week.
