I am 42 years old hypothyroid patient and taking thyronom 25. I am from India. Can I take familon for two month? From which day of period should I take it? I want to take it from this month. The FDA lists the typical side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, breakthrough bleeding and PMS like symptoms. I was diagnosed with pcos a few years back. Since then I have been on and off on different BCPs. Initially I took Diane 35 For six months and everything was fine but after few months ovarian cysts and facial hair was back...so after a few months I took crisanta for six months which suited me too....but after stopping the pills all problems were back in a year... This time a different doctor prescribed me krimson 35 but it did not suit me as I had a lot of hairfall and depression...so I stopped and hairfall and depression improved...but after some time facial hair got worse and so did my periods...
