False Positive For Valium

I take Xanax and lortab and I took a drug test for work and tested positive for Valium... I do not and have not ever taken Valium.... How would this be? ## I don't understand how it could have showed that Valium is in my system when I have not taken the drug.... Are there any other medications or anything else that I could have ingested to give me a false positive on this drug? Any information would be very helpful. ## This is the exact same thing that happened to me!! Except my pain medicine didn't even show up!

I ran short on my oxycodone and my pain mananagement doctor won't refill me. I'm experiencing withdraws. The doctor's office won't see me until the 23rd. I left a message today asking to be seen early to discuss how to handle my withdraws. No phone call and it's not after hours. I have some prescribed Valium but my dad also gave me a few 2mgs of Xanax. I've been drinking a ton of water, but I've been taking both of these benzos to help ease my REAL chronic pain and my anxiety during these withdraws. If I have to take a urine or blood test, will it specifically show Xanax & Valium or will it just show up as benzos? I don't want to be kicked out. I am 60 yrs old and had a back injury that I was prescribed many opiods. I was dependant on them and a dr perscribed suboxone film for dependancy. I also take Xanax 0.5 mg, prozac 40mg, celebrex 20mg, premarin 0.9mg. lisinopril 40mg, chlorthaid 25mg., fluticasone propionate 50mcg, generic allergy relief w cetirizine 10mg, and diet tea with senna in it for contapation. I got 2 urine sreens that were positive for vallum and xanax. They were confirmed by a lab in Califonia I have not taken vallum, but cathe xanax and sn't prove otherwise. I've been taking valium for four years. I have bladder & kidney problems. I have known I wasn't urinating but maybe twice a day. Now that I'm off of the valium I am urinating like crazy. Before I was taken off the valium I was testing positive for meds I hadn't been on for monthes. Is that why I was testing positive? I now look like a drug addict.

I tested positive today and last monday for benzodiazepines at my suboxone doctor. He's testing me again next monday and i'm kicked out if it's dirty. I took one valium to help me sleep when i was withdrawing about 8-9 days ago, so i understand the first test being dirty. The only things i have taken other than suboxone the last week and a half is ibuprofen, and energy drinks (mio). Somebody Please HELP!!!!!!!!!! I was once so hooked on oxycontin and heroin that I would do around 5 80mg oxys a day. I have kids so I tried a methadone clinic 2 years ago. Proud to say I'm a father again and haven't touched the stuff at all since. My problem is: A month ago when I was sick my mom (who got me started on oxy's and hate the clinic like you wouldn't believe...I know great mom!!) woke me and said here take these Tylenol's which I did and turns out I took two valium....I then a couple weeks later get called in for a urine test at the clinic. I have not taken any valium and failed a drug test! I take xanax, percocet and thyroid medicine and vitamin supplements and now I've been forced to pay for an addictionologist. This is not fair and I don't want this on my record! ## My question isn't about the "phantom" valium that showed on your panel, but rather what or who is forcing you to pay for a Addiction Specialist? I'm taking gabapentin, cymbalta, celexa, bachlaphen, vitamin C, zinc, morphine, valium, vancomycin, will any of these or acombination of any of them make a false positive for meth, ## I'm taking Cymbalta, ibuprofen, retinadine, Nasonex, Loratadine and over the counter Acetaminophen/Tylenol. I am on fentanyl 25mcg every 48 hours and norco 10/325 4 times a day Valium 10mgs 3rimes a day I get frequent uti and take cipro for them I get drug screened in pain management with urine test most always shows false positive for oxy and then is sent out and comes back fine why does this keep happening ## It's probably related to the quality of the test they are using. I recently took a ETG for probation and failed for alcohol and I haven't drank at all. What can cause me to test positive for alcohol? ## What gives me a false positive for alcohol after five hours? I go to a methadone clinic. I work in a car delivering papers. I get car sick. The only thing I take is dremamine. The scientific word is in the title. I tested positive for benzos. I cannot figure out why. I don't take Xanax Valium or klodopins. So I need to know if this substance can do this because I can't figure it out. I'm going to not take it for a week to see if this is causing it. It's hard for an ex junkie to say your not taking something and really aren't and it's showing up on a urine screen. I'm going to see if they will take my blood. Someone plz help.

Hello, I have a question. I was given a hair drug test, and it came back positive for Cocaine at a level 631/pg/mg and also positive for Benzolyecgonine at a level 403/pg/mg. Sorry, I posdted this in the wrong place so I am reposting it. I take 2 Lortab 7.5 and 1-1/2 each Valium and Soma a day due to an accident several years ago I broke 24 bones. I have had 3 false positives for oxycontin or Percocet. I have never taken either one. I had one instant test come up right with just the drugs I take. Could the combination of Lortab and Soma do this?

I recently had a urine drug screen from my Pain MD and she is discharging me for taking valium. I dont take valium, but I do take XanaX, Sertraline(zoloft), Trazadone, lots of Ibprofen and Several different opiate pain killers. All prescribed from the same MD. Is it possible that one or a combo of these could false positive for Diazepam? Especially the Sertraline. Please help me!!! So my Dr. gave me a UA because she was prescribing me hydrocodone. I thought oh great I'm not gonna have enough hydrocodone in my sytem, due to finishing the Script a couple days before. Well she tells me I tested positive for Diazepam (Valium). I never took anything like that. She didn't believe me and let me go as her patient. I have been under her care for 2 years. In recent times I have taken Oxycontin, Oxycodone, Valium, Soma, Testosterone, Nexium, Amlodipine, Fenofibrate, Chantix, Aspirin, Sudafed, Nasal Spray, Lidoderm Patches, Voltaren gel, NyQuil, milk of magnesia, metamucil, Whey Protein and Multi vitamins. Why is it coming up as a dirty urine? ## The nasal spray can make a false positive for meth. Not sure about " Crystal" meth. Hi, I'm in an opiate treatment methadone program.... I showed up positive for oxazepam, but my medications are clonazepam, fluoxetine, hydroxyzine, and testosterone cypionate.... They reduced my dose by ten milligrams and said I must be taking other drugs but I am not.... Is there a reason it showed up as that?
