Fake Yellow V 3601

I refilled my prescription and received some yellow 10/325 vicodin. I normally take my dose and feel so much better, but the ones I just got make me so so sick. I vomit and feel hungover. I am concerned these are a bad batch or something I need them for my pain but am so scared to take these particular ones again. How can I tell if they are fake and/or bad? Please help. ## @Concerned patient, If you're receiving these meds through your doctor from a licensed pharmacy there should be no reason to even question whether or not they're real/fake. Pharmacies don't dispense fake medication, but often times they do dispense ineffective brands/generics that lack quality from cheap manufacturers. I usually don't see too many complaints pertaining to the yellow V 36 01 from Qualit...

I filled the prescription as I have done for the last several years. Got a yellow tablet with 10 98 on one side and a V on the other. It does not work. I took 3 tablets in one hour (usual dose is one tablet) with no results. Could have been taking water. Label shows it to be from PAR P company. Is this fake or what? ## Is the marking possibly 3601 V? If so, the tablet contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. NDC: 00603-3887 This is an opioid analgesic that carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. So no, it is not fake. However, if you have been taking the same dose for years, your body may have become used to it, so it may not work as well for you, anymore. Have you informed...

I am concerned I recieved some norcos from a mom and pop pharmacy. they were yellow but a brighter yellow than usual. I had a few left that I got from a cvs and they were a lighter yellow enough to see the difference with the eye .but when I split. Them both in half the inside are the same yellow with the crystals .. Have anyone else seen a brighter yellow v/3601 norco I don't knw if this pharmacy giving fake pills?? But effect seem the same ## Hello, Mike! How are you? Actually, the PDR pictures do show this tablet in a couple different shades of yellow. There is no specific criteria that defines what the color should be and it can sometimes vary, depending on the manufacturing process at the specific place where they have been made. It is really nothing to worry about, as long as ...

When it comes to yellow Norco (imprint: V 3601), you can NOT tell if it's counterfeit unless you compare it to a real pill. They look REAL in every sense except that the edges of the pill are crumbly, they lack that shine in the coating, they break easily and the "V" is slightly different on the bottom. Beware. ## How to tell a fake yellow NORCO! READ!! There are a lot of fake yellow Norcos out there. One fool proof way to know if they are fake is the following. The real yellow Norcos with imprint 36 01 on one side and a V on the other, will have a small skinny ring around the V. It's barely visible to the eye, but if you look close enough u will see it. If u touch the pill and your hands are sweaty u can rub it off. The skinny ring around the V starts on the top left co...

I received an RX from my pharmacy for HYDROCODONE - ACETAMINOPHEN, 10/325, Generic for Norco. It says it's "Qualitest". The pill is oval, VERY light yellow, has the number 3601 with a 'break line' between the six and the zero. On the flip side is a "V". Here's my problem. I had some pills left over from a prior script and the tablets looked the same with one exception -- the "V" on the new script is "right side up". In other words, you can roll the pill towards you and if you start out being able to read the numbers "right side up", as you roll the pill -- you will still be able to read the "V" right side up. Where as with the previous scrip, the pill would have to be rolled side-ways in order to read the numbers and the V ...

I recently got some v3601 yellows. The outside is a lighter shade of yellow, with patches of white showing. When broken in half I could make out obvious specks of white inside the pill. Not shiny crystals like usual, but actual white specks. Is this normal? I have some pictures but cant post it from my phone. Otherwise the pills are the same size and have the same inscriptions on the pills. ## Those are fake. You should see the white crystals always. ## I think with any pill not received from a licensed pharmacy, there's always the risk of having counterfeits that can resemble it so closely, that the only way to truly verify its legitimacy would be to have it analyzed by a lab or drug panel. Generic norco/vicodin such as this is pretty commonly prescribed though, and I doubt pain ma...

Here's my question I get prescribed 60 of these a month. Now they usually work great. But then I bought 10 extras and they look exactly the same but these ones don't affect me at all I don't see a difference. Does anyone know how to determine by the eye if they are fake? ## Yes, absolutely can tel if real or fake by small details, if you know what your looking at !!!! ## IS THE YELLOW V3601 NORCO IT HAS TO BE KIND OF SHINY OR CRYSTAL LOOKING AND KIND OF WHITE IF I SCRATCH IT WITH MY NAIL U CAN SEE THE WHITE INSIDE, IS THIS REAL NORCO?
