How can you tell a real 7.5/325 from a fake one? Is there any tests you or your pharmacy could do? Thank you! ## Hello, Arlene! How are you? No, the only way to be sure, if you didn't obtain it from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, would be to pay to have it lab evaluated somewhere. Are there any markings on the tablet in question? That information would enable to check more details on it for you, such as if there are known fakes. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I've gotten two different ones before that I thought and knew were fake. Including Norco 10/325. I'll write down markings of both. Markings on Norco ...

I don't think my Norco is real. It does not feel like it is working and I am having w/d symptoms. It's small, white and round. The markings are RX 497. I've heard that fake pills are making it into the states from overseas and I think mine is fake. Has anyone else experienced this problem? ## Hello, JBT! How are you? This tablet is listed as containing 10mgs of Hydrocdone and 325mgs of Acetainophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Were you taking a different one, before? There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to another, so this one may be slightly lower than the prior one that you were tak...

I am scheduled to take 1, 3 times a day. they are orange (light) a V on one side, scored and say on the back; 36 score mark 05. I have taken as many as 4 at one time w/o getting relief, but do feel there is a small amount in them, just to keep from withdrawal. ## In addition, I got this RX from the hospital pharmacy, no independent parties were involved. Are these places more likely to get less potent or fake tablets? or was there misuse of the main ingredients in the manufacturing process? ## Most likely it's just that the medication doesn't work well for you for pain. Not everything works for everyone that tries it, which is why there are usually multiple options to try in any therapeutic medication category. Additionally, if you've taken it before, your body may have buil...

They just seem chalky taste and they don't work like 2mg xanax do I take one and can one and fall asleep on these i can take as many as i want and feel NOTHING. ## I have taken xanax for years. I am positive that the pill you are talking about is another generic of a 2mg xanax, xanax is chalky anyways, even the brand is. I do know from experience that different companies that make xanax use different fillers, and the fillers can cause you to feel that the pill is not working the same, especially a pill that you are acustom to taking. For example. I used to take Norco 10 for pain, they make yellow ones and white one, two completely different copanies. Even though they have the exact same ingredients, I feel that the white ones work better than the yellow ones. It's mental, at lea...

Hi. I want to know what Norco 176 look like before I take it. Please send me a pic of it. Thank you. ## I need to know what the Norco 176 look like and if they are fake. ## I have the next best thing to a photograph and that is a legitimate pill description for the generic Norco 176 tablet containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone bitartrate + 325mgs of Acetaminophen: - White oval shaped pill with 176 on one side and scored on the back - Reported to be approximately 13.00 mm in size - Manufactured by Sun Pharma - Carries a National Drug Code of 57664-0176 As far as a proper imprint identification goes, this should satisfy your concerns. However, I sense that the only reason to question whether they are fake is if you didn't get them with a prescription through a licensed pharmacy and decided ...

When you break a norco in half is it difficult? And is it possibly fake if it ends up breaking too easily? ## Hello, Warren! How are you? I've always known them to break easily and never had to use a pill cutter, but I suppose it can vary from manufacturer to manufacture. Can anyone else chime in? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I just broke a norco in half and it was kind of easy. Is it fake? ## My bf has 176 pills and they break easily in half. they look real but after he took 2 in the morning and 1 more in the afternoon he said he felt nothing like a m367 pill or Watson? Is it possibly fake or what? ## If the man...

When it comes to yellow Norco (imprint: V 3601), you can NOT tell if it's counterfeit unless you compare it to a real pill. They look REAL in every sense except that the edges of the pill are crumbly, they lack that shine in the coating, they break easily and the "V" is slightly different on the bottom. Beware. ## How to tell a fake yellow NORCO! READ!! There are a lot of fake yellow Norcos out there. One fool proof way to know if they are fake is the following. The real yellow Norcos with imprint 36 01 on one side and a V on the other, will have a small skinny ring around the V. It's barely visible to the eye, but if you look close enough u will see it. If u touch the pill and your hands are sweaty u can rub it off. The skinny ring around the V starts on the top left co...

Is there a over the counter med that looks like a yellow watson 10/325 norco? ## To my knowledge there aren't any OTC medications that look similar, as this particular yellow Norco pill is unique to Watson. If there's any pills that come remotely close, I'd imagine them to be Mucinex DM or Guaifenesin + pseudoephedrine tablets. Do you have any reason to believe you may have received a fake pill from someone? ## No, I want my girl friend off norcos.I think its all in her head.I want something that wont hurt her like a vitiman. After a couple of weeks tell her I switched them and prove its only in her head. Placebo effect. Thanks ## I will begin by stating that regardless of your intentions, it is morally, and legally wrong to willfully switch a persons medication especially th...

My cousin picked up her perscription of blue watsons oblong with 853 supposed to be 10s 10/325 hydrocodone or norco they are nothing ive ever seen i told her to take them back to the pharmacy its a discount pharmacy are they fake or real im nervous because she lives with me i do not want her getting sick or od ## If it was a legal prescription filled at a licensed pharmacy there is no chance of it being a fake. It's more than likely just a generic brand you may not have seen before. Hope this helps ease your mind. ## There is a white, oval tablet manufactured by Watson Laboratories which they list as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Has anyone filled their prescription for blue Watson 10/500 pills from any pharmacies over the phone? I got 90 that look like my CVS refill, but have the effect of a vitamin. Ripped off again. ## I think I was similarly scammed. The color was greenish, not blue like the regular Watson 10/500 and tasted salty. I had been called 20 times and finally succumbed. Is this your experience too. The phone number was a 305 exchange ## I purchased Norcos over the phone. Came in a vacuumed plastic bag. They were blue with WATSON 540 printed on them. The looked real but when you take them it is like you are on valium, you don't get pain relief. Purchased from a 321 exchange. I am concerned I recieved some norcos from a mom and pop pharmacy. they were yellow but a brighter yellow than usual. I had a few left that I got from a cvs and they were a lighter yellow enough to see the difference with the eye .but when I split. Them both in half the inside are the same yellow with the crystals .. Have anyone else seen a brighter yellow v/3601 norco I don't knw if this pharmacy giving fake pills?? But effect seem the same ## Hello, Mike! How are you? Actually, the PDR pictures do show this tablet in a couple different shades of yellow. There is no specific criteria that defines what the color should be and it can sometimes vary, depending on the manufacturing process at the specific place where they have been made. It is really nothing to worry about, as long as ...

I used to take Norco 10/325 for chronic pain by Watson, but Watson was bought out by Actavis. Wow, the difference in pain control went from 10 to zero. All Walgreens and CVS pharmacy's only carry Actavis, so I called around and finally found the generic that works even better than Watson's, and that's Mallinckrodt, at least for me. Most hospital pharmacies carry Mallinckrodt. Amneal, Qualitest and so many other manufacturers are absolute garbage! I have chronic pain from fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis in every joint in my body. I think those fake manufacturers of pain pills should be shut down. ## They aren't fake manufacturers, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as p...

I received an RX from my pharmacy for HYDROCODONE - ACETAMINOPHEN, 10/325, Generic for Norco. It says it's "Qualitest". The pill is oval, VERY light yellow, has the number 3601 with a 'break line' between the six and the zero. On the flip side is a "V". Here's my problem. I had some pills left over from a prior script and the tablets looked the same with one exception -- the "V" on the new script is "right side up". In other words, you can roll the pill towards you and if you start out being able to read the numbers "right side up", as you roll the pill -- you will still be able to read the "V" right side up. Where as with the previous scrip, the pill would have to be rolled side-ways in order to read the numbers and the V ...

are these fake. The bottle says Hydrocodone 10/325 Norco but have seen watson 19/ 325 printed on the pill ## Has anyone responded to this post? I, too, have seen pills held up to be hydrocodone 10/325, which have the lettering Watson on one side and 10/325 under it. I have not seen that image in any of the online sources I have seen. My opinion is they are pressed on a s***ty pill press. I believe that cartels are using hydrocodone and making narcotic products. This explains the reason they seem weaker than the Norco. It's definitely an analgesic pain medicine, but with it being made on the black market they are a little weaker with less resources; the bootleggers use fake packing to give it a brand name look, similar to how the opium and coco is inconsistent.

I have been taking norco 10/325 and the pills say watson 853 for some reason the last ones I got where a smaller version and looked shiny compared to my older ones that were a little bigger and more dull looking with a chalky film left in the bottle these new ones that are shiny don't have that chalky film to them and the imprint looks a little different as well. It is not something u would really notice without really looking at them or having one to compare it to. Would these be some kind of fake pill or geneic version.
