heard they stopped making opanas? 2/21/12 has anyone heard this? starting to panic!!!!!!!!!! ## Yes Opana is discontinued ## Actually no, there is not listing with the U.S. FDA saying that this medication has been discontinued, although two of the strengths of the name brand, the 7.5mg and the 15mg were discontinued as of the Spring of last year. Does anyone have an actual government information website showing otherwise? ## The story in NY is that they have o investigate why the opana got into the excedrin bottles in the first place. Vey where I go they says the ops as no matter what strength are on back order. I don't know how they are going to pump out enough to fill an entire country. My doc changed me to OxyContin 80 and oxycodone 30 for now which I think will be for a long tim...

Once on the benzo road 2 things will happen. If you stop taking them slowly or cold turkey you will want a quick death. If you continue, your dose will have to be increased periodically. I am on 1mg. 9 months ago it worked for about 8 hours. Now it's down to 3 hours. You're making a deal with the devil, beware. ## I agree with your post but after going C/T, Hospitalization for a week and almost dying, about the last thing I want or need to do is take more Xanax. I take 33% less and have enough to last me for a long long time. I used to worry about my next dose and became obsessed with it all, not anymore.

Such preparations are available in the form of tablets, capsules, pastilles, powders, liquids, or injectable formulations. I tested positive for PAI-1 and MTHFR C-factor, and I am pregnant. Why would they prescribe Folbic? Should I also be taking a blood thinner? Help, I am worried. ## I have a history of blood clots and anuerysums and was diagnosed with MTHFR. I am on Folbic twice a day and Bayer Low Dose once a day. I hope your doctor has talked to you by now about starting a Bayer regimen. ## You might want to ask your doctor about L-methylfolate. Women with the MTHFR polymorphism have a limited ability to break down synthetic folic acid (found in Folbic). This puts you at risk for folate deficiency related pregnancy complications. I work with NeevoDHA, a prenatal specifically indicated for women with the MTHFR mutation. NeevoDHA contains active L-methylfolate as an alternative to synthetic folic acid. L...

My brother contracted cellulitis while hospitalized for hernia surgery three months ago. He was recently prescribed Augmentin to take twice a day for thirty days. Is that an unusually long time to take an antibiotic? Are there increased risk factors from taking it that long? ## Hello, Paula! How is you brother doing? No, the risks remain the same as if he were taking it for 7 to 10 days, he runs the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Sometimes, with a particularly bad infection, such as severe cellulitis, it is necessary to take a longer course of antibiotics and he should follow his doctor's instructions. Is there anything else I can help with?

Greetings, Prescribed warfarin leaves me very fatiqued. Would a switch to prescribed Plavix elimate the daily fatique ? ## What are you taking it for? Have you consulted your doctor? The reason I ask is because, in cases where someone is taking it due to some heart problem, it may not be the medication itself that is causing the fatigue. In these cases, the fatigue could be caused by the cardiac condition, itself. Unless they are constantly having to adjust your dosage, fatigue as a medication side effect should wear off and not be as severe, after a few weeks, when your body has adjusted to the medication. Thus, you really need to consult your doctor, to make sure it's the medication and not something else. Plavix contains the active ingredient Clopidogrel and, even if your fatigue...

EPITELITAL GROWTH FACTOR- NATURAL HORMONE PROTEIN CREAM TO REJUVANATE THE SKIN ## Unless you have had blood clots, or smoke, I highly recommend using HRT, preferably topically. Women's International Pharmacy will custom blend for your individual needs. Menopause is a joke. Loss of sleep, confusion, depression. If you're not miserable, don't bother taking the risk.

I have had PE and am factor V Leiden. I used xarelto for six months but it made me suffer anxiety and breathlessness and depression, stiffness in joints. I swapped to eloquis and found the side effects are not so extreme but still there... Memory problems, joint pain , slight headaches and tiredness. Warfarin is sounding good ! Have heard about a herbal product called nattokinase that should be researched by drug companies. Sounds like a winner. Natural and no side effects. As I am 61 I would like to use something that I can use and stay healthy on! ## Hello, Caren! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the problems you've had. However, all medications carry the risk of causing side effects, even natural herbal products. The difference is that since they've not been studie...
