I can take up to 8mg per day but I only take around 4mg per day for knee pain. I have had mouth pain off and on for the last year and I thought it was a yeast infection so I went to my GP and they did a diagnostic and it was not a yeast infection. I have been taking lercanidipine for 1 week and my bp has gone up to 212/101 from 136/85. I have leg pain, dry mouth, sore tongue, puffy eyes, swollen ankles, lower backaches and very tired.
