capsule-red&wht- ## I have been taking Epidrin for a couple of months due to Chronic Daily Migraines. This is the only drug that works for me. I still get the migraines...and they're still horrific...HOWEVER they are NOTHING like they used to be.

I haven't had a migraine in 8 years, but now have one that has been going on for 2 days. I have an old prescription of Epidrin Cap Excellium that is 8 years old. Is it okay to take this, or would it be dangerous or less effective? ## It will most likely be less effective, so it would be best to dispose of it and see your doctor for a new supply of a medication to alleviate your migraine. It's common used to anxiety and nervous disorders, but does have the potential to be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. I used to take Qualitest lorazepam but it was discontinued. I had to switch but Watson / Actavis does not work and causes side effects. Most pharmacies carry Actavis. My local Walgreens carries Sandoz which is similar to Watson. Another local pharmacy carries Mylan or cardinal health. Anyone tried Cardinal health or Mylan lorazepam and worked ok? Where can I get excellium lorazepam 1mg? I called 30 pharmacies in my area but none deal with it. I heard excellium lorazepam works well. ## The main issue here is that this is a potentially addictive substance, according to FDA warnings. One has m2 on one side and nothing on the other; and the other pill has ep 116 on only one side. Found white round pill with EP on one side and scored. Blank on the other side. No numbers. Anyone know what it is? ## Hi Kelly, Is the score line on the same side as "EP"? I only ask because there are at least a handful of other white round pills marked with "EP" sitting over top of a score line on one side and blank on the back. They're reportedly made by a company called Excellium Pharmaceuticals (hence the EP). However, the only discrepancy I've noticed is that these other pills also have a (3 digit) set of numbers underneath the score line. I just wonder if your numbers could've been rubbed off? - depending on its condition. I was taking Ranbaxy for almost 3 years and was just fine. No anxiety and no side effects. Then about a month and a half ago I started getting anxiety. Found out CVS changed to Mylan brand. I found I could get one more month's supply of Ranbaxy but at the two mg strength. Was a problem with dosage amount because I had to quarter the tablets. They cut in half nicely but the quartering was always unequal. I read this board and knew to stay away from Mylan, Watson and Santos (sp?) So I called around to the mom and pop pharmacies and found one that carried Excellium. I had read very little about Excellium on the forum but the pharmacist said he had been selling it for 10 years and never had a complaint.
