Are expired ferrous sulphate pills safe to take? They expired in 08. ## When it comes to drugs/medication I think it is best to not take any chances with the past expiration date. They MAY still be ok to take if they haven't been exposed to a high amount of heat or various other conditions outside of the bottle, however I am not a pharmacist or MD, so I cannot guarantee if it is in fact safe for you to consume. There is still a high likelihood that it lost some of its potency and may be ineffective to the point where it could harm your body by not doing it's job all the way, per say. I would recommend contacting your local pharmacy or doctor to assess if the quality of the drug still remains. They may have certain tools or methods for measuring this sort of thing. Would the pills still work if they are expired. I have some that expired about like 8 months ago. Will they still have the same effect? ## @lulu, From what I can tell, there don't appear to be any specific details on the shelf life of Yeduc (Sibutramine) listed online; and my guess is that it's probably because Sibutramine was banned due to it causing an increased risk of serious heart/cardiovascular related side effects. So in that aspect I wouldn't necessarily consider it to be safe whether it's supposed to be expired or not... but 8 months isn't a really long time either if you kept it stored in a cool, dark, dry place. Most medications (with the exception of certain antibiotics) are actually still good for many years after the expiration date.

Hi was taking exluton since April 15, 2012, then I got mens April 20-24. I already finished 3 blister pack from then on I was not able to have mens anymore but i do PT and it's negative. I was prescribed hydrocodone 10/325 for severe back pain and they did nothing for the pain, not even when I took two at a time. The doctor then prescribed dilaudid 4 mg, this too did not touch the pain at all. I took the dilaudid back to the doctor and had them dispose of them. They then prescribed oxycodone 5mg. These do nothing as well, I took two at once and just got a stomach ache. I stopped taking all pain medications as they just were not working. Yesterday, I found an old bottle of vicodin 10/325 that I had from a previous surgery and even though they were expired - I took one and it worked! I have had these Percocet 10-325 pills with the U 17 on them and they are the worse pills you might as well take Tylenol they are so weak I had the worse month of my life taking these and I'm not crazy I have had a few friends that take Perks for there pain and they got the same ones this month and had the same complaints as me !! ## Weird.
