All medications can have different effects on different people. You may be on the wrong medication for you or on too high of a dosage. I started taking this a week ago. Since I have been taking it in the mornings, I have been tired, no energy and my legs hurt, can not concentrate or be able to think. I changed to the nights and I sleep really hard and by noon I am ready to sleep again, I am starting to get headaches and my legs still hurt. But i get tired still at noon, but i am able to think a little better in the morning. I had a hysterectomy almost a yr ago and we are still trying to find something to help me. I have been informed that EEST HS is now a CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE !! I have been taking this med for several years as hormone replacement therapy. Now, my prescription plan has changed my expiration date from 1 year to 6 months, and I have to contact my physician for a triplicate controlled substance prescription which must be mailed in and cannot be faxed in. green long oval tablet 805 on one side and what appears to be a fancy A on the other side. ## I had complete hysterectomy in 1989. Took no HR after that until I hit 50 and then BAM! So I took Estratest and it worked fast and well for many years. In 2004 the doctor said I should get off it, so I did. Then I went nuts with horrible hot flashes, and decided to get cheaper meds, so they gave me estrogenmtest HS, which is MUCH cheaper. I took only 3X/wk and lately started taking 7 days a week since the flashes came back. I have had headaches and dizziness for days now and even a bit of nausea. I have not gained weight, but I certainly have not lost any weight; I do not eat much, so ... you would expect me to lose something. I have been taking this medicine for 8 years....it works for me....now they tell me that i have to take this Covaryx......it is very expensive since i dont have any insurance...why??? did the manufacturer stop making estrogenmtest....it was so much cheaper....and it worked... ## Hello, Lisa! WHAT DRUG PLAN WILL PAY FOR COVARYX MONTHLY WHEN YOU ARE ON MEDICARE. ## I've experienced the same with $$ expense and not covered. Does anyone have info as to why this is no longer available from the manufacturer? I've been taking it with great success for the past year. All of a sudden no one has it and I'm being told its a manufacturer problem. It's the IP 78 light green pill. However, the combination of esterified estrogens + methyltestosterone can be used to treat a variety of symptoms associated with menopause (as a means of hormone replacement therapy). Is it true that Walmart can no longer fill prescriptions for est estrogenmtest hstb amn???? ## I'm not sure what they told you, but it actually isn't that these types of prescriptions can't be filled anymore, it's that there are stricter regulations on them. The Methyltestosterone in them falls under the anabolic steroids act and the laws pertaining to them weren't being enforced for many years in regards to HRT medications, the FDA and DEA have started cracking down and making pharmacies follow the law to the letter. That means that there are strict limits on the number of refills you can have on the prescription, so you will have to see your doctor every few months and get a new prescription in order to continue getting it filled.
