I had trouble staying awake all day and had some nausea. Can I cut the pill into quarters? ## I take 100 mg of primidone nightly to control essential tremors. I have tried other Rx's but haven't been successful. Primidone makes me very tired. I have great difficulty getting out of bed early in the morning to go to work as a dental hygienist. When I get up I take Vyvanse to stimulate me, but I get tired again around 6:00pm. What other means do I have of being alert in the evenings?y

I have essential tremor and I have recently been prescribed chlorthalid. I would like to know if there is newer information on the side effects of chlorthalid and Parkinson disease? ## Hello, Danny! How are you? I've not found any warnings or contraindications for those taking it that have Parkinson's. However, as listed by the FDA, it may cause musculoskeletal weakness, as side effect, which may make the tremors seem worse.
