He has a history of stomach ulcer which was cured 3yrs back. And now the irritation resurfaced which is why I believe he was prescribed this medicine. On starting with this new med, there has been some changes in his voice, swelling below the area of eyes, face and tiredness. Would you please let me know if these are the side effects of Sompraz??? Has anyone tried the Omedex Plus 40 mg Esomeprazol as a substitute for Nexium. I bought some in Mexico but haven't tried it yet. It is a clear capsule with with pellets inside. The pellets look like the same thing as inside the Nexium capsules. Insurance quit paying for Nexium so looking for an alternative.
