I am on Lexamil escitalopram 10mg, ## Good day, My wife is on Lexamil escitalopram 10mg in the day and on Zopax 1.0mg at night. Can she use any alcohol with this tablets. ## Hi am on lexamil 10 mg for nearly 5 yrs. I started 6weeks ago, for anxiety and depression. Just 5 mg knocked me flat, but after a week i was on 10 mg and able to get out of bed. After another week things had improved all round, and by three weeks i was feeling good, actually happy. I had agreed to stay on this drug for a year or so, but got really pissed off that it prevented me from ever having orgasms, so decided to quit without asking my dr....too embarrassing to explain. Am phasing it out very slowly now because of scary stories, had a couple of bad headaches and brain zaps, but so far better than getting onto it! Will drop from 5 mg to 2.5 for a week next. I switched from Zoloft to this generic of Lexapro (Escitalopram 10 mg.) as I was quite wired with Zoloft and couldn't cry. It has been about 8 weeks now and I am not feeling better on the Escitalopram or that it is doing anything. This script is from Walmart with notation (1/G) on front and (250) on back of pill with bold 448 on pkg. of pills to note manufacturer. Hi all, So since Christmas I have been on Lyrica, Max dose tapered up to was 200 mg (100 in morning and 100 in evening). I take them for nerve pain due to previous disc surgeries. I have been in a bit of a fog since starting with increased anxiety and pain. I was prescribed 10 mg of Escitalopram (Lepraxo) a day about a month ago as was having a lot of dark thoughts and severe anxiety. I have always had anxiety but seemed to be able keep it at bay (well perhaps not as well as I thought I was!) Anyway, I took my last dose of Lyria four days ago and only took 100mg that morning. I took my first (half) tab of Escitalopram yesterday and few hours later had a severe headache & nausea. I also take Suboxone meds, could it be the mix? My grandmother is taking szetalo "plus" 10 mg on a regular basis, but accidently got szetalo 10 mg ..so I'm asking if any side effect will occur or not? ## Hi Vandan, Based on my research, Szetalo contains 10mgs of the antidepressant Escitalopram. The difference is that Szetalo Plus ALSO contains 10mgs of Clonazepam; a Benzodiazepine-class drug used to treat anxiety, panic attacks, and seizures. Depending on how long she's been using Szetalo Plus for, not having the Clonazepam in her system could potentially trigger withdrawal symptoms to occur, if they haven't already.
