My Dr retired. I am having a very hard time finding another dr to prescribe me aderral. I quit taking them 2 months ago but have recently been told by my District Manager in a confidential meeting that my work performance has decreased & my error ratio is above what is allowed. I am going to lose my job if I cannot obtain a Dr to prescribe me meds needed desperately at this point. My family has also talked with me in a family meeting regarding my attention span and the 16 unfinished projects around my home. I live in Michigan, not far from Detroit. But all 3 doctors have told me that since I have quit taking aderrall they see no reason for me to begin again. I did find one Dr however, he does not take my insurance and wanted $415.00 for the office call alone I just cannot believe my...

I have been taking hydroxyzine pamoate, just got my next refill and it says atarax ,hydroxyzine hcl.....did I get the wrong med ## Hello, Cat! How are you? No, Aterax is actually the name brand for Hydroxyzine, as opposed to the generic being just called Hydroxyzine Pamoate. The FDA classifies this medication as being an antihistamine that is commonly used to treat allergic reactions and for its sedative like effects. Its typical side effects may possibly include drowsiness, dry mouth and somnolence. Is there anything else I can help with?

Just started using hydrocodone apap tab5mg-325. This first dose I took is 2 pills at 12 noon. The bottle instructions say you can take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. It is now 3:15 pm and it feels like the hydro pills, made by Amneal are just about finished. The pills I have been taking prior to this are oxycodone, Mallinckrodt, acetaminophen 5-325 and I take 1 pill every 6 hours. This is OXY condone, NOT HYDRO codone made by Amneal. Are they different strengths? The HYDRO seems weaker. Whats the difference between the two? And should they be interchangeable? ## It does require 7.5mgs of the Hydrocodone to be equal to the 5mg Oxycodone you were taking, because the Oxycodone is stronger. However, it may simply be that the Hydrocodone just doesn't work for you. Learn more Vicodin ...

My daughter has been prescribed by her cardiologist losarten25my as a prevention again aorta enlargement due to her congenital aortic bicuspid valve. We just found out her doctor prescribed 50my by accident for months and she had been suffering a lot of side effects, depression, anxiety, aches pains, dizziness ,feeling cold until a doctor checked her blood pressure and discovered the mistake, reduced it to 25my, How long will it take for her to feel better ,her blood pressure is as low as 88/65 ## It may take a few weeks, since she's been taking the higher dosage for several months, according to the NIH. Is she feeling better, yet? Is she on any other medications? She may also experience increased urination and diarrhea.

I was on concor 5 and lnblock 20 in the morning with aquazide 12.5 (half in the morning) and minipress 2.5 xl and alfusin d for my prostrate at night. My blood pressure was fine for three years but suddenly it shot to 170/97. The dr has changed my medication now to metasartan (40/50) from concor. I am worried that this may further disturb my blood pressure levels? ## Your blood pressure will always fluctuate, depending on your activity levels, the time of day it is checked, what you've eaten, and etc. It will never stay at one steady level all the time. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Has there been any change, yet?

I was going to take an ibuprofen and accidentally took one of my mother's Losartan 25mg tablets. Will I be ok? ## It is always best to check with a medical professional, but just one instance will not likely result in any adverse effects. The FDA warns that it could cause nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. How are you doing? Did you experience any adverse effects?

I have person on my case load who believes her doctor is giving her her Hydrocodone 10/ 325 and was explained she's getting a higher does than 5 because if her level of pain history. She showed me the pills the pills and the imprint was 126, white, scored in the back, oblong. I checked on the Internet and it said, she's getting 5/325, but the bottle said 10/325? Is this an error? ## Hello, ChubbyZ! How are you? It seems that there is an error somewhere, because you are correct on the dosage. However, I can't speak as to whether the pharmacy dispensed the wrong pills, or if they just misprinted the label on the prescription bottle. She'd need to get in touch with them to check. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side ef...

I bought a bottle of serrapeptase, I read on different sites I could take 1 capsule 3 times a day a half hour before eating. The bottle I bought says take 1 capsule a day. So can I take 3 capsules a day or should I follow directions on the bottle? ## Hello, Ralph! How are you? What is the dosage? Usually, it's 10 to 60mgs a day, so it depends on the dosage you ordered, though it is always best to err on the side of caution and follow the directions on the bottle. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, skin rash, diarrhea and nosebleeds. ## The dosage on the bottle of serrapeptase is 20 mg. ## San po pwd mkabili ng serrapeptase? leyte help po..or po na site sa mga medicine. may bc problem din sis.. ## Where can we buy serrapeptase here in olongapo? {edit...

Does anyone have more information about these birth control pills? ## I've been having a lot of problems this last month or so. Joint and muscle pain, fatigue, heart palpitations, nausea, wearing a heart monitor now and having some extra blood work done but the nurse suggested I check into my birth control to see if this could be causing the problems. This week has been so bad I barely have been able to get out of bed. Anyone else have similar symptoms? ## How long have you been taking it? The hormones it adds to help prevent pregnancy can cause issues for some women, and of course, it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, weight changes, and irregular vaginal bleeding. spring and summer bring erruptions on my peke which drives us both crazy with her scratching and rubbing her eyes. I spend about two hours a day rubbing and scratching her. ## Have you had her tested by a veterinarian? They can test animals, just as they do humans, to see what they are allergic to and what the proper treatment would be. There are also antihistamines that can be used for dogs to treat allergies. ## Hi Jenny are you still struggling with this issue? A pharmacy error caused me to miss 21 doses of hydrochlorothiazide (25 mg once daily). Can I expect side effects now that I have started taking it again? ## Yes, it is possible that you might. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. With that bad of an error, I must ask if you've considered switching to a different pharmacy? That is just horrible. Are you on any other medications?

in error earlier i took 1 10mg diazepam & now find out that i am supposed to be taking hydrocodone/apap 10mg/500mg will this make a problem?? ## If you took them together, you may experience worsened side effects, such as nausea, drowsiness and dizziness. However, if not and you just move on with taking the correct medication, there should not be a problem. They are two completely different medications, though, so I am curious as to how you mixed them up? The Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is a narcotic pain reliever, commonly referred to by the brand name Vicodin. And the Diazepam, better known as Valium, is a Benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders.
