 Ceftriaxone
Ceftriaxone (INN) /sftraækson/ is an antibiotic useful for the treatment of a number of bacterial infections. It is a third-generation cephalosporin. Like other third-generation cephalosporins, it has broad-spectrum activity against Gram-positive bacteria and expanded Gram-negative coverage compared to second-generation agents. the female end of the capsule says "rph' in lowercase letters over "V21" where the v is capitalized. the lower or male end of the capsule says only "150". all scoring is white. i found this capsule in my son's car, and would like to know what it as do not want him to hurt himself by trying out drugs that are not his. i am in canada if that matters. ## I located a match for this pill and it is in fact from Canada. The manufacturer's description of the pill is stated as follows: Each extended release hard gelatin capsule with dark orange cap and body filled with white to off-white pellets, with "rph" and "v21" written in white ink on the cap and "150" written in white ink on the body, contains venlafaxine HCl equivalent to venlafaxin... ...

Lorcet 10 650
What is the difference between Watson white 10 / 650 and the green Watson 10 / 650 ## The first notable difference is that Watson 825 contains oxycodone hydrochloride, while Watson 503 contains oxycodone bitartrate. I'm assuming that this is what effects the overall absorption rate of the drug itself. Another difference is that each of these pills contain a different composition of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that may also have an impact on how efficiently the drug is metabolized. In addition to that, both of these tablets are generic versions. The FDA permits generic meds to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient. So if one tablet has -20% and the other has +20%, that's a 40% difference in dosages; and for some people this probably feels equiv... ...

lortab 10.5/100
how is lortab 10.5/100 equivelant to lortab 10/625 ## I take 4 Lorbtab per day for Rheumatoid arthritis and am having lap band surgery in 5 days. I need to know if I can crush th lortab to take after surgery? And how will this affect the drug? ## which is stronger loratab 10.325 or loratag 10.500 ## There is no Acetaminophen/Hydrocodone tablet with a 10.5mg dosing of the Hydrocodone, the maximum available is 10mgs. Now as to which is stronger if the dosage of the Hydrocodone is the same in both, the strongest would be the one with the most Acetaminophen, since it potentiates the Hydrocodone. Very similar to shopping, where higher numbers mean a higher price, higher numbers when it comes to drugs mean a higher potency. I just wanted to add this here to give a clear example, since medicat... ...

lapendectomy
son had emergency back surgery including lapendectomy. what is lapendectomy. He had cauna equine sydrome and now has no feeling below waist ## He probably had a laminectomy, which is removal of the part of the vertebra - bone in your back - that you can feel if you run your hand down your back. It creates more room for the spinal cord and enlarges the spinal canal so there is no pressure on the cord. Cauda equina is when there is pressure on the cord at the very bottom of the spine. If it goes untreated too long, you can lose control over bladder and bowel, and you can lose feeling in your legs. Sometimes physical therapy and rehab and time can help this feeling return. Cauda equina is a diagnosis that requires immediate treatment; the longer you wait, the worse is the damage to the spi... ...

It still is not working .If I was put on dialaudid pills what would be the equivalentand wouldn't it help my pain? I have sever degenerative osteoarthritis all over with a total knee thus far. ## Hello, Jr! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. An equivalent dose of Dilaudid to the Oxycontin you take would be 90mgs a day and it's usually not used in such high doses. You may do better with the Fentanyl patch, it's a very potent narcotic and each patch lasts or 2 to 3 days. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, suc... ...

cost increase
Could anyone please explain the massive increase in costs over the last 2 months?? ## Xyvion, which contains the active ingredient Tibolone, isn't available in the U.S., and I haven't been able to find any information on the pricing. Have you tried asking your pharmacist/chemist about it? ## Xyvion I have and they come out with the usual reply of an increase in costs but as there is no equivalent available I find it hard to believe that the cost can go up from $38.00 to $49.00 with 2 price increases over 2 months ## I tried to stop taking it twice but had to go back on it. Had not taken enough with me to South America but amazingly got it without a script for half the price in both Brazil(Salvador) & Argentina (Ushuaia).
