sir,my mother is taking medicine zen retard 200mg from 7 years,now also she suffers from uncouncius..then doctor changed the medicin and given medicine as eptoin 100 ,i.e one in morning and two in evening...nw she feels her legs very painless,,plz guide me wat to do... ## Has she talked to the doctor about the problem? Eptoin contains the active ingredient Phenytoin, it is an antiseizure medication. It isn't know to cause pain, as a side effect, but it is impossible to say the effect that any given medication will have on any given person. So, she should really consult her doctor to discover what is causing her problem and get proper treatment. i was diagonised with viral encephalitis followed with a seizure in 2010 june i was treated with 200mg of eptoin for initial one year now for the last 9 months i am on 100 mg of eption for how long i need to continue ma drugs??? (eeg normal; no symptoms of seizures;no tremors) what is the minimum time period for these drugs????

MY SISTER WHO IS AUTISTIC WAS ON TEGRETOL 100 AND 200 RESPECTIVELY IN THE MORNING AND AT BED TIME.OFF LATE THE DOCTOR STOPPED TEGRETOL AND PRESCRIBED EPTOIN 100 TWICE A DAY.SINCE THEN SHE HAS BECOME VERY RESTLESS AND RASHES HAVE ALSO ERRUPTED ON HER WHOLE BODY ASWELL AS THE TONGUE, EYES AND INSIDE THE MOUSE ASWELL.TEGRETOL WAS PRESCRIBED BECAUSE SHE HAD BOUTS OF FITS EARLIER BUT ALMOST TEN YEARS BACK. NOW WHAT SHOULD WE DO. THE RASHES ARENT GOING. WHAT COULD BE THE REASON? PLEASE HELP. SHE CANNOT COMMUNICATE WITH ANY ONE. SO SHE CANT SPEAK OUT HER PROBLEMS. ALSO HER TSH LEVEL IS CLOSE TO 15. ## She may be having an adverse reation that can be serious. hii,my head got operated for brain tumour in right high pariatel cortex region 7 years back.But now i am getting more nerve stiffness and by that i will suddenly loose my left side leg control and nerve always giving me trouble by that I cant walk properly because my left leg fully loose its control and full left part it will continued for 5 minuts and minimum 3 times a day it occures.Please give me the suggestion. Presently em taking tab.Tegrital cr 200mg 1-0-2 ,eptoin 100 mg 1-0-1, clonotril 0.5mg 0-0-1.
