I gained a lot of weight and started to complain about this so the doctor prescribe 50 mg of Topomax in the morning as well as at night. I was also drinking Urbanol 10 mg morning and at night. I went to a new Neurologist that advised me to take Epitec 25 mg and wean down on the Epilum. At the moment I drink 200 mg of Epilum in the morning and in the night. I also lost more than 10 kg of weight. Every 2 weeks I increase my Epitec dosage and are currently taking 100 mg at night and 100 mg in the morning. What I want to know is if I am going to drink only one pill of Epilum 200mg within the next 2 weeks, is there a possability that I'm going to get a seizure when the Epilum is out of my system? At the end of the day ...

I have been using Epilum 1 x 500 mg morning and 2 x 500 mg in evening since 2008. Can it cause osteoarthritis, i have diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Regards ## Hello, Ben! How are you? No, from what I'm finding, it has been known to cause OA. That's usually just a degenerative condition that sometimes develops due to age. What treatment has been recommended? Are you on anything for the pain?

I have used various older drugs like Tegretol, Topamax, Epilum for complex parcial seisures that started 6 years ago after a bash in the head. I have experienced HAIR LOSS with them all. I stopped all drugs 4 months ago as my hair was getting thinner over the last year, its still falling but less. I was wondering if there were any new drugs like SAFINAMIDE that may not affect the hair. Has anybody been using this drug and experienced HAIR LOSS ## I have tryed Tegretol, topamax, epilum and lost lots of hair like every one else over the last 6 years.I have stopped all medication for 8 months now but cant drive. You either loose hair or drive, what a choice. Does this new drug Safinamide and Lacosamide do the same. It seems they are all just bad drugs.

What appetite suppresant is safe to use with Cymgen, Welbutrin, Topamax and Epilum? I have Bipolar Disorder. My weight gain is really a problem. ## Have you consulted your doctor? With your medical history and the medications that you're on, it would be remiss of anyone not familiar with your medical file to try and suggest any medication for you to use, as it could be very dangerous. However, your doctor should be able to help you discover what are the best and safest weight loss solutions for you.

I am now day 6 on Cilift. There might be a slight lift in my depression, but I cannot get myself to get out of bed. Is this normal in the beginning? ## Hello, Emispi! How are you? Yes, it can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache and dry mouth as side effects, as reported by the FDA. However, they should also improve with time and eventually go away, entirely, once your body gets used to the medication. It usually takes about 4 to 5 weeks. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi, thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately the Cilift clashed terribly with the Epilum (or I just had bad side effects.) I could not get out of bed, had no energy, (did feel a little better after 3 weeks), but the nauseas was extremely terrible. I could not eat for 3 days (nothing). I vomited the whole time,...
