I found a pill that is scored on one side and readsendo and under neath the enda it reads 602 Is this a percacet 10 or percaset 5? ## Well, they both contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, but this is Endocet and the correct dosage is 325mgs and 5mgs. This is a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. I have a pain managment Dr. in NYC giving me endocet 10/325 tid,every other dr gives qid whats up! I guess hes too conservative! ## Hello, Rick! How are you? They really don't have a choice, but to be conservative, due to the current directives from the DEA. Many have been cut even lower. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. is it true that endocet10-325 is no longer available, and if so why? ## Hi Thomas, If you run a google search for "Endocet Discontinued", you'll find that various websites do actually list Endocet as being discontinued; however they do not offer any specific reasons as to why. That said, I can't say for certain that it truly is discontinued, otherwise I think it would say so under normal Endocet search results. Some pharmacies may have stopped prescribing it due to the higher dose of Oxycodone, but it might be best to just ask the pharmacy directly if they are carrying it. just read something interesting on wiki-answers.com: that Endocet & Percocet NB are the exact same formula, same exact ingredients, (no different fillers or anything), made by the same company, (Endo). i was wondering if it was normal for me to be emotional after i take a dose of endocet. i am on it because of breast reduction surgery. it seens that every time i take a pill, an hr or so later i feel like crying. its bad enough that i spilles a little bit of orange juice & cried like it was the end of the world ... can anyone help ## & i cant spell while on it eather lol ## Unfortunately, one of the side effects has to do with emotions & sleeplessness.. If u can tolerate the dose being reduced to 5/325 it may reduce the overwhelming emotional rollercoaster you r on. Even ask your Dr.. to prescribe a different pain medication ex: vicodin.. Of course a strong dose. I have had breast surgery & its very painful in the beginning...Hope I was helpful..Maybe drinking chaomile ...

His response is correct for tablets or capsules that have been dispensed to you in a bottle from your pharmacy. In that case, they have an expiration date of one year from the date of dispensing, though most will not make you sick, they just lose potency. My friend got some of what he believes to be endocet 10mgs. They are white oblong and have the markings of E 712 on one side and 10/325 on the other side. Are these really endocet 10mgs? If not does anyone have any idea what they might be? I have been taking endocet 10/325 for yrs . Several my pharmacy has been out and given me oxycodone 10/325. I find I have to take 2 oxycodone a to 1 endocet . Why is that ? Can anybody recommend a generic substitute for Endocet? There are so many out there that don’t have the same effect. I was on Mallinkrodt(sp?) 10/625 5x a day and went to refill at wrong store and have Endocet yellow oval 10/325 one side, E 712 other side, and feel like I'm aching FOR SOMETHING!!!!! Called dr & no help. Idk what to do. No $. ## The pill marked E 712 10/325 does contain 10 mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Endocet. However, the active ingredients can differ from name brand to generics by as much as plus or minus 20%, so this may be what is causing your problem. I HAVE BEEN ON OXYCODONE FOR OVER 2 YEARS AND MY DRUG STORE RAN OUT AND GAVE ME ENDOCET? SAID IT WAS THE SAME THING BUT MY BODY TELLS ME THAT IT'S NOT THE SAME. The FDA does allow them to differ by as much as plus or minus 20%, they consider this to be an acceptable therapeutic difference. So, for instance if you are used to taking a certain generic that may have more of the active ingredient in it and you suddenly switch to the name brand that the FDA is more strict about, so it just has the exact amount, you could have problems from getting a lower dose and may find it is not as effective for you....
