Enantyum With Ibuprofen

Fell in france and ankle is just short of broken and was prescribed enantyum 25mg tablets. Managed to work out that they're ibuprofen. I'm from the uk and am used to 200mg as a standard tablet. ## No, they are NOT Ibuprofen, these tablets contain 25mgs of Dexketoprofen, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, but much stronger than Ibuprofen, hence such a low dosage. I have had six teeth removed from my upper mouth and am suffering pain. My dentist said to take Paracetamol and Ibruprofen alternately but not a lot of good. My Doctor says Enantyum 25. Is this a good idea? ## Hi Justian, it sounds like the medications which your doctor is recommending are not very strong for severe pain. Rather, they are intended to be mild to moderate pain relievers, so it does sound in lie with getting some teeth removed. Enantyum is reported to contain the active ingredient Dexketoprofen, which is also an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), in the same class of medications as Paracetamol and Ibuprofen.
