I have been taking Enace D 10 for the past decade. My pressure is normal. I have been prescribed Losakind H now. Is it similar? I find that the composition is different. Would it have the same effect is the question in my mind. Have not yet started taking it. ## Enace-D contains the active ingredients Enalapril and Hydrochlorothiazide. Losakind-H contains Losartan and Hydrochlorothiazide. So they are not the same, but do have similar effects and are used to treat the same conditions, which can include high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. The side effects should also be similar and may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and dehydration. Hello, I'm a 36 yr old male, my doctor advised me to take ecosprin 75 mg, Enace-D5 - and tonact TG 20 daily, as my lipid profile test results were as follows: cholesterol serum/plasma-340*, HDL-38*, total cholesterol ratio (calculated) 8.9*, triglycerides-160*, LDL-270* and B.P is 170/100. Please tell me about the medicine and whether those are safe for me or not. ## I am age 65, male. My blood pressure is 150 / 95, average cholesterol is 201, triglycerides are at 159, HDL 36, LDL 133, VLDL 31, cholesterol / HDL ratio 5.6, bIood glucose 98, and LVEF % 60. Please suggest an appropriate medicine.
