I was perscribed Bella ALK/PB ELX Qualitest over a year ago now for my severe cases of acid reflex, does this medication expire because I do not see an expiration date on the perscription ## All medications expire, due to the fact that they will eventually lost potency. For tablets, in the U.S. it is one year from the date your prescription is filled. It is even shorter for liquids, that means that your is probably long past its expiration date. Have you talked to your doctor about getting a new one?

I too have been a long time user of Brondecon elixer for asthma. Because of the stupidity of a few who OD'd with the dosage the rest of us now have to suffer the loss of this extremely uselful medication. The theophylline tablets take more than 30 minutes to work whereas the elixer was very rapid. This is another expamle of something that was discontinued that defies logic. ## My daughter has had it since a very young girl and it is wonderful, now on steroids and that can only be taken for a short peroid of time, did't have to take steroids when on the brodecon for asthma now back to the same old sickness. Y is it that the majority suffer for the minority idiots. When you are very sick and on oxygen and a simple thing from the chemist can work why can't something be done. MM...

Children's Dimetapp Cold and Allergy Elixir Brompheniramine + Phenylephrine

Dimetapp is an American brand of over-the-counter cold and allergy medicines that is manufactured by Foundation Consumer Brands. At one point, Dimetapp as a household word referred to a single combination preparation marketed to relieve symptoms of the cold, containing brompheniramine (an antihistamine) and phenylephrine (decongestant replacing the formerly used pseudoephedrine, which itself replaced phenylpropanolamine). Variants were created, including Dimetapp DM with the addition of dext...

I am trying to find a pharmacy in Long Beach, California where I can fill my prescription for Roxicodone elixir. ## HI, Robert! Sorry that you're having trouble finding it. There is no central database that lists what pharmacy has any given medication in stock, such information would be dynamic and tough to keep updated if someone were to try it. However, one thing you can try is asking if they can order it in for you. Alternatively, if you are just calling them, rather than going in, that may be why you aren't finding it. When you call, most will just tell you that they don't carry any controlled substance, because they don't know if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief. Thus, the only way to get a real answer is by physical...

What would the name be on a bottle of liquid hydrocodone for being 5 mg ## Hi Carol, The only brand names I'm aware of are Lortab Elixir, Liquicet, and Tussigon. However, Lortab Elixir and Liquicet contain a combination of Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen; and not just Hydrocodone by itself. Tussigon also comes with Homatropine methylbromide, which is added to discourage overdosing. One other brand name containing the same ingredients as Tussigon is Hycodan, but this has reportedly been discontinued in the US. What brand name did you receive from your doctor?
