I have been told by my doctor that Duxil has been banned in Egypt due to the bad side effects is this true or not. ## While the info I found is not relevant to Egypt, apparently it has been banned in China. "The SFDA ordered the suspension of the production, sales and use of Duxil (almitrine and raubasine), a dementia drug from France’s Servier, due to its "unobvious" efficacy. I Duxil for years in Egypt. But now I need to know the name of Duxil in Germany, or an alternate drug. ## I don't know if it's available in Germany or what the name brand may be, but I can provide you with information on the medication, so you can check with a doctor or pharmacist there to see if it or an alternative is available. For 7 years one Egyptian Doctor in Saudi Arabia advised me to take AXID medicine for a problem in my stomach, and I think strongly that this medicine was the cause for me to be a sugar patient the same year 2002. What does it do? ## hi going to sharm in egypt for 2 weeks , went last year and had the dodgy stomach. Can you take anything before you get it as a preventative? ## We spent 3-1/2 weeks in Egypt in September. After the first few days we started to have queasy stomachs and my husband had diarrhea for 3 days. Immodium didn't help him, although Pepto Bismol did calm my stomach a bit. A pharmacist in Aswan recommended Drotazide and it worked wonders. We took it 3 times a day for a couple of days to clear things up. Then once a day as a preventative measure and our stomachs were fine for the rest of the trip. Drotazide is over the counter in Egypt. Buy it and take a tablet once a day as soon as you can. Taking it, we were able to eat fresh fruit and use ice cubes with no bad consequences...

My son & his longterm girlfriend has recently visited Egypt(December).Whilst there they both had a severe gastroenteritis & took OTC medicines as advised by the local chemist. I have been ordering Zopiclone online for years now. I believe they get shipped from Egypt. They were always a yellow colour and oval shapped and good quality. I odered some as usual and this time they are round, pink, blank on one side and a score down the other side? does the composition of duxil differ among countries? or is it have the same composition in Egypt as in France? ## Yes, it does appear to differ in some countries. In China, Oman, Vietnam and Greece, it is only listed as containing the active ingredient Raubasine, however in several other countries, it is listed as containing both Raubasine and Almitrine. In all the countries where it is available, however, it is used to treat age related cerebral problems and the cognitive problems that can arise after a stroke. I have just received from Pharmastores zopiclone (10mg) which is blue, oval with one score on one side and what looks like the egyptian eye as a marking. I'm concerned. I notice that this has been mentioned by folk in the past and someone has said they may be from Eva Pharm, Egypt. Has anyone taken them. Hi; I have Chronic constipation and Indigestion for years and I used to take spasmocanulase and I had gotten relief but, in Egypt they do not producing spasmocanulase any more and nothing gets me relief any more so what I can take instead of spasmocanulase or the name of drugs t hat contain the same elements that spasmocanulase has. ## It is probably sold in Spain.
