Can I take Xanax to offset the side effects of Buspar? I only took 2.5 mg (yes, that's 2.5, not 25)twice a day for one day and had a number of bad side effects. I had gotten perscribed 30 xanax I ir and xanax 2mg XR, I needed prior authorization for the xanax XR 2mg, to have enough for the month I have to break the XR in half. I began taking Xanax in 1982. I have been abusing it more and more over the years. I can now take 14 mg and not even tell it. I can stop taking it with no withdrawals. It's like I am immune to it. For the past two years I have been experiencing a lack of cognition, forgetfullness, and general fatigue. I had been taking Zoloft for about a year along with Xanax(for about 2 months) and it didn't help me a lot, but i felt that i couldn't control my appetite anymore when i stopped this treatment, though i didn't gain or lost weight during the treatment, but i noticed that when i was decreasing the dosage i lost 6 lbs. ## Zoloft is being recalled by the FDA for being a critical health hazard for woman and their babies, I just can't believe how many women are putting their lives at risk.

I have looked extensively for info with my situation but haven't found much. when I was 15 I started doing pills, and it resulted in 5 yrs of heavy addiction to xanax, up to the point of doing about 30 mg per day and drinking in excess. Hello all, I started taking Viibryd back in August of 2013. My doctor prescribed me 40 mg daily. I was also taking .25 Xanax as needed. To say if my anxiety went away, I'm not so sure. Anyways, I relocated to California back in January, and I am now 2,000 miles away from most of my anxiety triggers. There have been days when I had forgotten to take my medicine and experienced TERRIBLE side effects. Itchy all over, dizzy, and terrible neck pain. I went to see my new doctor about 2 1/2 weeks ago and he said that someone my age (22), and size (118 pounds) should have never been prescribed this or such a high dose.
