i get my script on the 10th, i am going out of state for vacation, and they are 2 days early,due on the 12th. ## The best thing to do would be to consult your prescribing doctor to see if they will authorize an early refill. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Did they allow you to get it early?

Please help!! I am new to this site, this is my first time posting on anything like this. I will be blunt and right to the point! Every month I get 120 Norcos, I have Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance, I live in Michigan! Can I get two early refills back-to-back if I call my insurance company and explain the situation!? We're going out of the country on the 12th and won't be back in till next month and I will definitely be on my medicine by then! But the only problem is I just got a refill last month on the 27th! And last month I called my insurance and got it filled 12 days early because I left on vacation out of country! So now I'm just wondering if I can do this two times in a row? And just pay out-of-pocket!? Or can I go to another pharmacy and say that I don't ha...

North Carolina is a strict state also but will fill 3 days early at most mainstream pharmacies, if it's been at least 30 days since the last fill regardless of what the doctor wrote as the refill date. ## Thanks for sharing this important information. I always thought doctors were the ones who had the most amount of control over the refill date; but I can understand how (in certain rare cases) it may be helpful to grant a pharmacist permission to make such a fateful decision on behalf of their own whit and whim - e.g. if a doctor is out of town on vacation and/or the patient is undergoing withdrawals & various circumstances of that nature... It's just a little disturbing though when pharmacists abuse this power to their fullest extent, rendering some doctor's pain script...
