What could possibly be causing the world's worse itch for 2-3 hours at a time usually starting in the early evening? Does anyone know what the first symptoms/signs are of St. Anthony's Fire, because 'firey itch' best describes this. I take reactine occasionally for it, and wonder if it has ergot in it and actually causes this. ## Hello, Marge! How are you? It sounds like you're allergic to something. Have you consulted your doctor? There are no medications on the market that contain Ergot, except a very rare few and it is listed as an ingredient. They also require a prescription. Do you take any other medications? Do you have any medical conditions?

I can not take copazine, if I take meclizine, will it have the same results, very aler. to comazine ## Close. I had an inner ear infection once that made the whole room seem like it was spinning for 3 days. I could barely get out of bed I was so dizzy, but I was so dizzy I was vomiting every few minutes.. The Mec cleared it up... along with some antibiotics. I've used it for flight sickness before too. I don't suffer from car motion sickness. ## Did you mean Compazine, which contains the active ingredient Prochlorperazine? It is an antipsychotic, that is used to treat various types of mental health issues. However, Meclizine is an antihistamine that is most commonly used to treat nausea, and vomiting. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness...

ear medication ## need this medicine for my outer ear infection ## I am sorry, this is an information only website and do not prescribe nor sell drugs. You need to see a doctor to allow them to diagnose and infection, then let them prescribe the appropriate medication. Do you know if this medication contains gluten? ## I was prescribed this medication and after two days of using it I went completely deaf, then experienced sudden, severe hearing loss. Has anyone had the same experience? ## I need to know if neomycin polymyxin B sulfates and hydrocortisone otic solution is gluten free... ## want...

for ear and throat congestion ## They are actually called Tessalon Perles and they contain the active ingredient Benzonatate. THEY DO NOT TREAT CONGESTION! This is a type of topical anisthetic that helps prevent cough . ## ## You're correct. IT WORKS, TOO! One of my Allergist friends who literally grew up in a drugstore (his Dad owned the neighborhood pharmacy "back in the day"swears by them and, like me, he is not afraid to write for Controlled Substances when necessary. This doc is the only physician (other than my dermatologist) I know who orders "extemporaneous" prescriptions. (About 15 years ago, I had a bad case of Asthmatic Bronchitis; in addition to the antibiotic — which I chose because I take Coumadin and know more than he does about inte...

How safe are the following drugs if expired, and is their general efficacy compromised as well? Vistaril Xanax Flexiril Excedrin Migraine Tylenol with Codeine Ear drops ## Hello, Brad! How are you? In tablet form, none of the medications you've listed become dangerous, once expired, but yes, they do start to lose efficacy and you should dispose of them. The expired liquid ear drops, however, can go bad and could cause problems, if you used them, as listed by the FDA. Liquids are nowhere near as stable as other medication forms. Both Xanax and Codeine carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Which medications can definitely not be used after the expiry date? Thank yo...

my husband takes warfarin daily, we are wondering if taking diatomaceous earth to help lower cholesterol and blood pressure with his warfarin would effect anything? ## Unfortunately, this is just a supplement product, so it has not actually been checked for interactions with prescription drugs. Thus, the best advice I can give would be that he check with his doctor or pharmacist, before taking it. Learn more Warfarin details here. When taking Warfarin, one's INR can be very touchy, so it's always best to be cautious. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Verwon supplements are so popular today they should know if DE would interact with warfarin um I mean RAT poison.......... And, why is it that almost all crucial supplements like Vitamin K2 have a negative effect on warf...

Has anybody experienced buzzing or ringing in their ears from Cymbalta? It's called tinnitus. ## It is possible, but not common, and when someone does experience it as a side effect from Cymbalta, it usually goes away in a few weeks, since such side effects are transient, and tend to go away, once your body gets used to the medication, according to FDA reports. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, appetite loss, weight changes, and laryngitis. Are you on any other medications? ## Change your anti depressant. I have Tinnitus but not from any drugs. Whenever you “ experience” a symptom of a side effect, it needs to be changed. Usually the older antis are the better ones. I only notice my tinnitus when it’s very quiet. There are also soft noise ...

Husband has late stage Parkinson's and has chronic pain issues . Takes dilaudid. Prescribed 6times daily. Sometimes he needs more. He is 78 years old and I just want him comfortable the time he has left. I m his wife. I m 55. CVS after years of our business won't.fill his script 7 days early. What are my options? Its not that I'm some young woman seeking out drugs. ## monitor his pill intake better. there is not a pharmacy around that will do refills in 7 days earliest is 3 day .. too many attempts to refill early you will get reported as either a supplier or seeker and most places turn you in to the local police and get you pulled off meds for seeking is usually the suspicion.. I am due to have my alprazolam refilled on the 23rd of this month. In a few hours it will be 3 days from that. Will the gov't allow that (I have Maryland Medicaid) (state ins.) or do I have to wait 2 days? ## It's not the Government, its the Drug Store or Pharmacist. I would say yes. With that said I'm not sure what your Medicaid program will pay for early when it comes to controlled Drugs even though they are dirt cheap ## When someone has Medicaid, it is up to the pharmacist/drug store and Medicaid. Even of the pharmacist wants to refill it, Medicaid can deny it. ## Ty both so much. ## I have a refill for my 5 mg diazapam , I take one in the morning and 2 at night for adhesive capulitas. Will CVS fill my scrip 1 day early?

its a thin, clear capsule, white powder, no imprint, nothing to tell me what medication it is. ## Clear capsule appears white from powder inside no imprint ## Sorry, if there is no imprint, there is no way to positively identify it, unless you would have it lab tested. ## Possibly Niacin, Vitamin B-3, one of a few unmarked white capsules. It's used by the body as a co-enzyme for energy metabolism. Supposedly helps nervous, digestive, and cardiovascular systems. Used widely for drug detoxifications, increased metabolism... ## people r starting to bring 30 mg oxycodone up from florida in a capsule form with no imprint. they r being made right in the pharmacy.. if u found one in your teens room.. have them take a test... stop it early b4 it becomes a major problem. drugs kill ## Just f...

I have been taking doxycycl hyc 100mg for about 2 yrs now. I have also had ringing of the ear about that long. Just wondering if the doxycycl hyc could be the cause of my ringing of the ear? ## Hi Kim, According to Harvard Medical School, Doxycycline is one of many drugs that can cause or worsen tinnitus. Apparently it damages the nerve cells/hairs that send and receive signals to and from the brain. You can read more about that in the article linked below: health.harvard.edu/newsletters/Harvard_Womens_Health_Watch/2011/September/tinnitus-ringing-in-the-ears-and-what-to-do-about-it I hope this helps to answer your question!

For over 50 years I struggled with this condition. I stuck it out with hard work and faking it. Now that I'm nearly 77, I cant go on anymore, but don't want to traumatize family that I see (not often)! In three years I lost my wife (2015), sister (2016), & both young nieces (2017- 2018). I had supported them all until death basically! I have been on psychotropic prescription drugs for 50 years, presently on three 1mg Xanax and two Effexor 150 mg. It's hell on earth! ## Are those the only medications you are currently on? I could be that you need to try a different medication, or a combination of them. Have you informed your doctor that this current combination just isn't working? You've been through a lot, so it is not surprising that you are feeling this way, yo...

Emivirine Drug Index

Emivirine (MKC-442) is a failed experimental agent for the treatment of HIV. It is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor.[1] While emivirine showed promising antiviral activity in vitro, it failed to show sufficient efficacy in human trials. However it is still notable as an early proof of concept, which led to the discovery of a number of related antiviral drugs.[2] .mw-parser-output .navbox{box-sizing:border-box;border:1px solid #a2a9b1;clear:bot...

If You Got A Prescription Filled On August 19 ,2014 with A 8 Day Supply When Is The Next Refill Date ## Hello, Cookie! How are you? It depends on what the medication actually is, for instance, controlled substances wouldn't be filled until the very day they are due, but other medications, such as life sustaining drugs for cardiac conditions can be filled a few days early. Lomefloxacin is used to treat various bacterial infections, such as bronchitis. It is also used to prevent urinary tract infections prior to surgery. Lomefloxacin is associated with phototoxicity and central nervous system adverse effects. Some side effects are: nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, headache, lightheadedness, or drowsiness, ringing in the ears, increased sensitivity of the skin to sunlight. Can regular use of this drug lead to muscular dystrophy or muscle atrophy? I am experiencing this problem after taking this drug for almost 1.5 to 2 years with ecosprin 75 mg and rozucor 5mg post aortic dissection in early 2011. Or, could rozucor or this combination be the culprit? Please advise as I feel progressive muscle wasting taking these drugs.
