I have been on this medication for (off and on) for abt. 4 years (estimate) It is also listed as ENTOCORT. It is prescribed by my Gastroenterologist Doctor the 1st time in Sept.2012 - then again in 2017 after another colonopscopy showing that my colitis (flammable) had returned. It is very expensive, and due to many problems with my diverticulitis and colitis I have to continue using it as a last resort to my colon problems. I also have an aneursym located in my head that I got when I fell on cement on 2/7/2013. I was taking the cortisteriod Entocort when this happened ( 1 per day). I came close to dying due to severe head trauma after a drop in blood pressure and the fall. I am still trying to deal with these problems day by day. I know someone who takes 15 tablets of Cortal (500mg). What would happen to her in the event of an overdose? I'm getting nervous. ## Cortal is listed as containing Aspirin, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, that also caused blood thinning. Taking that many could cause her blood to be thin, so a cut or scrape could cause dangerous bleeding. She could also end up with a bleeding ulcer, due to the way it can irritate the stomach, as reported by the FDA. There is also a risk of liver damage, along with elevated heart rate and blood pressure. Any of these could possibly result in a fatal overdose. Why does she take so many? ## Ma wawala ang side effects ng gamot n cortal kse po gumamit yng pinasan ko po tas after nya mg karoon na ramdaman na niya yng mga side effects masusulusyo...

How long do the effects of a Kenalog inj. last? I got gout while traveling alone on a cruise, and my only option was a Kenalog inj. This was a week ago today. My results have been completely favorable with no side effects (so far), but had I had the option, I would NEVER have chosen to have cortisone. I'm wondering how long the pain relieving effects of Kenalog last (1 week, 1 month, 1 year?) but mostly I am wondering if I may have untoward effects later. Most of the post I'm reading are blasting the teva generic. I have tried core pharma's 30mg round pink tablets, and yes the ingredients are different between the two manufacturers, teva and core pharma. I've taken ADD medicine for six years and can tell you they are different. If it's hard for you to get up and get your day started try core pharma. If your up and in a slump and it's around 4pm take teva and you'll notice exactly what your supposed to notice. Teva is pure relaxation and focus where core pharma is harsh and cortisol inducing. Very hard to sleep on core pharma. Try taking half the tablet and be sure to eat good quality carbs with your ADD medicine. The body can't motivate without ample glucose.
