whu would a lortab 10 blue turn white

Why would a blue lortab 10 turn white? ## Are you certain that it was blue and is a Lortab or the generic equivalent? Are there any markings on it? Some pills may change color if they are coated and get wet, so the color washes off, but I am not familiar with any Lortab made that way. ## If it's a Watson 540, then it didn't "turn" white. Watson Pharmacuticals is changing the color. The white Watson 540 is still a generic Lortab 10/500. The blue Watson 540 will continue to be sold until pharmacy supplies are depleated then Watson will replace them with the white. ## Other than the color change, do you know what else they changed? I take Lortab 10/500 1-2 every 4 hours not to exceed 7 in a day and have taken Lortabs since my injury in 2005. (The stronger meds make me eupho... ...

Pharmacies tend to switch regularly, depending on who supplies the cheapest when they need to restock, so you will not always get the same tablets when you get a new prescription filled. baby blue capsule ## Are you sure your imprint is correct? The only thing I find with Dan Dan 5454 is a whilte round pill called Quinidine 300mg, generic for Quinidex. It is used to slow the heart rate down (tachycardia.) Side effects include chest pain, wheezing, headache, among others. There used to be a capsule form, blue as a matter of fact, of Quinidex. But I don't believe it is being made anymore. If you find the imprint is different then please let us know so we can make a better indentification. ...

Found.. White pill imprint Watson 540.. 10 Mg...? Usually they are blue:10mg/500 hydrocodone/acephatamine Different color same imprint? Same thing or not? Usually they have different imprints or why change color..? ## It's interesting you mentioned that because "most" of the images I found have been oval blue pills. I did however come across a legitimate photo of the one you're describing (elliptical, white, imprinted with WATSON 540) at: rxlist.com/vicodin-hp-drug/patient-images-side-effects.htm NOTE: the dosage of the white pill is confirmed to be the same as the blue pill (500mgs of Acetaminophen + 10mgs of Hydrocodone). Manufacturer: Watson Laboratories, Inc. Although the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, it would definite... ...

My boyfriend got perscribed a blue norco with watson iand 540 on it?1000mg? what does this do?? ## Okay first off, there is no Norco that contains 1,000mgs of anything. The tablets with the WATSON 540 marking contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a narcotic pain reliever. Side effects may include: nausea, headache, dizziness and constipation. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## Norco is hydrocodone just with less acetaminophen than it's famous cousin Lortab which has 500mg. There is a generic hydrocodone with 650mg acetaminophen, usually green. I familiar with 5mg, 7.5, 10mg hydrocodone and the amount of acetaminophen gives the medication it's name in this case. ...
