Round light blue pill one said said 538, the other has an R ## This tablet contains 10mgs Carbidopa and 100mgs of Levodopa, this is a generic for Sinemet, this is used to treat Parkinson's Disease. I am not very familiar with this medication, if anyone has more information on it, could you please post? Did you find this pill somewhere, or was it prescribed for you?

They list it as containing 400mgs of Guaifenesin, and 20mgs of Dextromethorphan. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and dry throat. What is the dosage for this pill 1 or 2 pills at a time? ## Hello, Max! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Major Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containg 400mgs of Guaifenesin. The FDA classifies this as an expectorant that is available over the counter. It may cause side effects, such as nausea, kidney stones, diarrhea and vomiting. The directions provided by the FDA also list the dosing as being one tablet every 4 hours, as needed, not to exceed 2,400mg daily. Is there anything else I can help with?

I think the pill is a form of diet pill, decrease appitite or what ever type of pill, but I threw away the bottle, so I don't know what this pill is for sure! ## This is not a form of diet pill rather it is guifensin 600mg/phenylephrine 30mg. This is a generic form of Entex La and many others. It is a decongenstant/phlegm or mucus thinner. It helps one to stop coughing yet be productive in expelling the phlegm when one does cough. Look out for marked drowsiness, yet the possibility of insomnia as well, tarry stools, fainting or sweating spells.
