yellow and black oblong capsule, with a picture of something followed by 2407. It is supposed to be tetracyclene, but the bottle states that mylan 102 should be printed on each pill. ## Based on the description provided, I can confirm your yellow and black capsule to be Tetracycline hydrochloride (500 mg). It sounds like there was some sort of mix up at the pharmacy with the manufacturers. The marking Mylan 102 comes up as the same exact yellow and black capsule as 2407. The only difference I noticed is in the manufacturers of these pills. Additionally, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients, but other than that you can be assured that they are the same drug and same dosage. I have been taking Verapamil 240 ER for many years. It works fairly well. But each time I went to get a 90 day supply it kept going up and up! It was some where near $39.00 when I first started taking it. The last two times I got a 90 day supply it was $40.00. ~Then 3 months passed and it was( $47.00 ) for a.3 month supply) It is now time to have it refilled. The Dr. had it changed to Verapamil 120mg (regular Not ER, or slow released) twice a day because of cost being so high!! However I cannot take it. It makes me so dizzy and nauseated !! I called the drug store to see if I still had refills on the verapamil ER. She said they do. But the cost for the verapamil 240 EX had went up substantially. She said it was made by TABZENITH??? And the price now for a 90 day supply would be $167.00!...

What is the difference between Verapamil Er 240 MG & Verapamil HCL ER Tab. ## Hi Gloria, From what I could gather, "HCL" is the chemically abbreviated form of Hydrochloride. It is basically the way that the medications are put into solid form. Many liquid or oral suspension formulas contain HBr, hydrobromide. Some medications also contain Fumarate or Maleate, all of which are mediums to put the substances into or dilute them. Since HCL is water soluble, the Verapamil that does contain HCL may be more easily absorbed into your system than the one that does not contain any HCL. This is just my theory as I haven't done a lot of research on the topic, but the bit of info I did find suggests it to be so. I hope this helps!

I have been informed by my pharmacy that their manufacturer has discontinued the white pill and have gone solely with the blue pill. (Teva Mfg. I believe). I have an allergy to dyes in pills and can only take white. Walgreens (my pharmacy) directed me to try CVS or Walmart, but neither one has white. I like verapamil tablets and would prefer not to change. Any ideas? ## Hello, Jan! How are you? Unfortunately, I'm not finding any others in that dosage of the ER that are white. Do you have any large hospitals or a compounding pharmacy near you? They may be able to create it for you in clear capsules, to avoid the dye problem. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

TMS 240 gram Was given to me for my bird. His white blood count was 2 times lower then Normal. What do you think he is treating? ## Hi Lori, Based on my research, Each g contains 1000mgs of Tricaine Methanesulfonate (also known as TMS). I can't seem to find a whole lot of information on this veterinary medication, but apparently Tricaine methanesulfonate (TMS, MS-222), is white powder used for anesthesia, sedation, or euthanasia of fish. I do wonder if this is even the correct medication, but no other results are popping up for TMS in the way that you mentioned it. It is manufactured in Canada by: Syndel Laboratories Ltd. I hope this info helps! Has anyone else heard of TMS?

We take diltiazem cd in 240mg and 180mg. At this time we are unable to fill our prescriptions. The local pharmacies do not have prescripts in store and say their distributors do not have any stock and have no date when they may have some. Is there some problem with this med or do we need to change to something else? ## According to the FDA's webpage there aren't any current drug shortages of Diltiazem. I also don't think your doctor would write you a script for something that he didn't think could be filled. So I would imagine it's probably just those local pharmacies who haven't had a need to keep it in stock for a while. Have you tried contacting any pharmacies outside of your general area to see if anyone carries it? If it's of any help to your search, lis...
