I am a school nurse and one of these pills GC 101was found in hallway, after not being able to identify pill via web, called local pharmacy and it pulled up as non aspirin pain reliever 325 mg so in other words generic regular strength Tylenol. ## Thank you for taking the time to share this information! I also find it rather difficult to identify most of the OTC medications, since their pill imprints aren't usually listed online. A few pill identifiers out there actually specialize in identifying OTC meds, but they require some sort of ridiculous monthly subscription that most of the general public probably isn't willing to pay for. you note that generic meds can be marked same as proprietery "other" mess. how to be sure what I have? ## Hello, Dr. Dre! How are you? I think you're misunderstanding, so I'll try to clear this up for you. All prescription medications are marked, but the markings have to be unique to each manufacturer, each medication and each dosage of that medication. For instance, a round white tablet with A 101 on one side in black print, with nothing on the other is listed as being a 150mg Budeprion XL tablet, which is a time released formulation of Bupropion. Now, there are other companies that also make a 150mg time released dosage, but they cannot use the same imprint, they have to use a different one. This is done to help make sure that the medications can be identified and trac...

Found these pills outside on the sidewalk. What are they? ## These are Acetaminophen (generic Tylenol) 325mg. Manufacturer is not listed on the label. The distributor is Geri-Care Pharmaceuticals Corp,1650 - 63rd St., Brooklyn NY 11204. (GC=GeriCare) NDC is 57896-102. Inactive Ingredients: - Povidone - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato - Starch, Corn -Stearic Acid - Crospovidone - Methylparaben - Propylparaben Source: DailyMed ## I've tried looking for these for a few days now, since first seeing your post, but I am just not finding them listed anywhere. My biggest suspicion is that they are something that's available over the counter, which would explain their not being listed in any of the prescription drug databases that I checked. Does anyone else recognize these?

Just need to know if this pill have aspirin or ibuprofen in it? It is a allergy pill. ## I found a white capsule marked "IP 101", but it's identified as Gabapentin 100 mg; which is used to treat nerve pain, epilepsy, and other conditions as well. Manufacturer: Amneal Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code (NDC): 53746-0101 Size: 16.00 mm Are you really sure that the pill you have is used for allergies and not something else? I haven't seen any other tablets come up under the same imprint, but hopefully this helps to at least narrow down your search. Please post back if you happen to have any more information regarding this pill.

Yes, I take Methylphenidate 10mg, but the pharmacy gave me a generic for it and this is the first time I have used this one.
