I'v completed my 33 wks of pregnancy..my delivery has to take place at my maternal place which is in another city which takes overnight journey by train to rch there.i have to travel next wk.till nw my pregnancy is uneventful..do I need to take duvidlan retard 1 day before travelling to avoid labour pains during travelling in case they might occur due to any reason?is itsafe to take it?I'm thinking of taking it just as a prophylaxis.. ## Hello, Sana! I'm in 33rd week of pregnancy now and my Doctor have prescribed me the Duvadilan Retard 40mg tablet for 10 days (one per day). Please advice me the purpose of taking that medicine during this period of pregnancy. Hi m 30 weeks pregnent. I had been taking duvadilan retard from 23 weeks of pregnnancy as i suffered from water discharge frm urterus.. this was the cause doc. Started duvadilan .. at that te i was given injctn of duvadilan also.. nw evry thng is ok. But doc. Hasnt stopped duvadilan retard till now. I took twice a day.
