Oval shaped, white, tablet, Imprint: PE 626, prescibed for a sinus infection with an antibiotic. ## Duramax, PE 626 it says prescribed for a sinus infection with an antiotic. Does this mean along with a prescription for an antiobiotic? or is there antiobiotic in Duramax? I can't find Duramax information in any search engine and I'm waiting for my duramax prescription to be filled. ## Sorry, there is nothing listed in any of the databases I checked under that name or with that marking PE 626. I checked the FDA site and the only item under the trade name Duramax that they list in the US is a cardiac stent, not a pill. There is, however, a tablet marked with PE 616 that is called Duradex. So it might be possible you misunderstood the doctor's writing, or the pill markings were ...

is dukes mouth wash for acid reflux with blisters up ur throat and on the tongue?......and is it made with mylanta and bynadryl? ## This is not a specific prescription item. There are regional items mixed to area doctor's specifications by area pharmacists, so there is no way to say for certain what is in the one you have received or what it can be used to treat. Have you tried asking your doctor or pharmacist? ## What are the directions for taking Duke's Magic mouthwash.

Can I substitute otc potassium gluconate 595mg tabs for the k-dur 20meq cr tabs? If so, how many otc pills would I take to get the same effect? ## Hello, Rick! How are you? The over the counter items cannot equal the prescription medications, you'd have to take far too many of them and would end up spending more than the prescription costs. It would be best to pick up the prescription as given by your doctor. The FDA lists the most typical side effect of this medication as being nausea, so it is best to take it with food. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I kave no insurance and the otc potassium is less money. I figured that 8 otc potassium would be the same as 1 k-dur 20. is this correct? ## I have no insurance and the otc potassium is less money. I figured that 8 otc pot...

large white scored pill with PE 626 on one side - prescribed for decongestant ## This has cropped up a few times recently and I had trouble finding information on it, because it is not necessary to have a prescription for this, it is an over the counter item. It contains Guaifensin and Chlorpheneramine Maleate. ## Sorry, I should note that the ingredients I listed above are for the non-prescription version of this product, the prescription version contains other ingredients and here is a page with more information: ## I finally found a pharmacist who had this listed in their databases, all versions of it are OTC, which is why it could not be found in the prescription drug listings.

Several items in my home were stolen during a break in while we were at church My oxycodone where also My dr trusts me because I've been on them for 10 years with no problems, and she had refilled them, but they are very expensive. Like $8000 for theExtended release script and $300 Instant release. Will my homeowners insurance cover these? I do have police report. ## I am very sorry about what happened, it's awesome that your doctor replaced them for you, though. Many won't do that, regardless of the circumstances. The FDA lists this as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. As to your homeowners insurance, you'd need to check the specifics of y...

Has there been a recall on this product? ## Hi, CatLady! I haven't found any information saying that there is a current recall on it. The last one I found listed was due to a labeling problem and occurred in 2011. However, since this isn't an item that completely falls under command of the FDA, the company isn't actually required to log a recall notice with them or any particular entity. Recalls are actually voluntary and up to their discretion, unless it's due to an issue that has the potential to be very dangerous. Did you try asking at your local stores to see if it was recalled or if they are just out of stock? ## Verwon, thanks for your info. I was inquiring for a friends and have passed on the info. Appreciate it. ## There was a sort of recall if you call the konsy...

Ia Lunesta a controlled substance. Medco is only refilling it once when my doctor prescribed it for 12 months ## The reason they are doing that has nothing to do with the drug class, it actually could be due to one of two reasons: Your insurance and what they cover. Most insurance companies set up a certain list of drugs they will cover and how often and they will not allow refills on some items that they do not consider necessary for long-term use, you will need to see your doctor for a refill or have them phone one in whenever you need one. They also don't want to be laying out the money to cover regular refills every 30days on a drug that you might not be using that often or you might stop taking after awhile. Another possible reason has to do with how your doctor prescribes it, ...

discuss the topic; all medicine contains drug but not all drugs contain medicine ## In respect to this, it really all depends on what you consider a drug and what you consider a medicine. I am guessing your lack of responses may be due to the fact that most people use them interchangeably, to mean the same thing. The U.S. FDA has made a distinction for items that they consider drugs, because of the effects they have on the human body, but do not find to have any valid medical use. However, over time, even many of those have found some type of medical use. Such as the THC in marijuana, it is now purified and used to help with the nausea and vomiting that many cancer patients experience after Chemotherapy treatments, it can also help stimulate their appetite. It is available in a pill cal...

When I first tried the Corepharma generic Adderall IR back in 2007, I felt it was very, very weak. Now..however...Feb 2013...the Corepharma seems (at least to me) to be better than it once was. Two specific items I have noticed seem better: 1. Potency 2. The come-down is more even Perhaps over the last 5+ years of getting complaints (I actually formally complained back in 2007), the company has actually taken proactive steps to improve their product. This, of course, is simply my opinion. ## It's possible, but it's also possible that it's just due to your body being more used to the medication now and adjusting to it easier. It's always hard to say in such cases, because it's not like the manufacturer wants to publicly admit if there were problems before that they...

Is Gastritis,Ulcer , Acidity - all mean the same ? Gas released out by farting and belching are same ? I am having Gas trouble and recent days acid secretion and in endoscopy found that lower end of esophagus had been eroded. Doctor has suggested me to take Omeprazole and Rabiprazole tablets. But I am unable to get cure. Even 4 hours after taking my food I feel like vomiting (due to gas pushing my food upward) and if I vomit I can see the food item in the same form that I ate. for eg. If I take rice , during the vomit also rice is coming out in the same form. I also feel due to excess gas formation , the food is not reaching my stomach. It stays in the food pipe only for several hours. I feel so. I drink good quantity of water. What can I do ? ## and if I vomit I can see the food item i...

I am a diabetic and hypertension patient for the last 20 years. My glucose fluctuates from 45mg to 500mg. I am taking 3 Insulin injections daily. My doctor feels it may be due to tension and depression and has prescribed "clonotril-0.5" to help me get relief from the depression. I am afraid by taking this medicine that my glucose is getting too low while sleeping. Please advise whether I should take this medicine and whether it has any side effect? Thanks. ## Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor? They are really the only person qualified to advise you. And yes, all medication carries the risk of side effects, even over the counter items. Clonotril contains the active ingredient Clonazepam, which is a Benzodiazepine and its side effects may include: nausea, dizziness...

I am on 8 mg og Suboxone a day. I take it at 6am. I know it should last atleast 24 hrs, but it seems as if I go to sleep during the day, I wake up sick. Is this possible, that when I'm sleeping my body burns off the suboxone quicker? ## No, that doesn't make any sense. When you are asleep, your metabolism actually slows down, so if anything, it should take longer to process a medication. Have you spoken to your doctor about this problem? It is highly possible that the current 8mg dosage you are on isn't enough for you. Another problem that may cause you to wake up sick, has to do with the same slowing of your metabolism when you sleep. And it has to do with if you are eating or drinking anything, before you lay down. Are you doing this? When you do this, the items you ingest...

Is there any equivalant available in USA? If so kindly let me know the name of medicine in USA. ## Unfortunately, no. The U.S. FDA does not approve medications that combine anything that's actually considered a drug, with other items that are considered supplements, due to the risk of some people not understanding what they are taking, which creates an overdose risk. However, they are available separately, you can be prescribed Pregabalin by physician and then take the supplements, too. I'm on lisinopril for high blood pressure. I have a runny nose, cough, sneezing, and would like to know if i can take NyQuil cold and flu? ## Hi Wanda, According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are no interactions listed between Lisinopril and Nyquil Cold & Flu. This is not to say that no interactions exist, so it's always a good idea to double check with your prescribing doctor first; but I would probably feel safe with this knowledge if it were me. I hope you get around to feeling better soon! I'm actually just getting over a similar set of symptoms myself (which I attributed to being a nasty sinus infection); and I found that oregano oil and garlic were staple items in my recovery due to their potent antibacterial ...

I have used butesin picrate in the 1950's on two major burns, in both cases with excellent results. I am not aware of any drawbacks, except for the very strong yellow color. I would like to know what was the reason for this ointment to be discontinued because, if there is no terrible aftereffect, this is the best burn first aid I have known. ## I really don't have a lot of information on it, there isn't even really a monograph for it, but I think this is due to the fact that most of the products that contain are over the counter items. One that would be easiest to find would be Almay Anti-Itch Lotion, though I am not sure how well it would work for burns. Does anyone else have more information on this?
