I'm trying to figure out what a med was called that I took I was a yellow gel cap with a purple ring Arround it and it ended in pam ## Hi Chuck, Do you have any idea what "type" of medication it was? What it was prescribed or used for? A lot of drug names come to mind that end in 'pam', specifically benzodiazepines/anti-anxiety meds such as diazepam, lorazepam, clonazepam, and temazepam. So this is what I tend to think of right off the bat. However I'm not particularly aware of how each tablet or capsule is being supplied and their specific color schemes for certain dosages. Never-the-less, it seems to me that the drug category of benzodiazepines is most common when it comes to meds that end in 'pam'. So you may just need to double check on that with a ph...

Good discussion but have to remind every one, if these bad side effects aren't reported to the FDA, the problems we are experiencing will never end, the FDA will do nothing until they recieve enough complaints, some of the lorazepam manufactors are really ripping of the american public, but nothing changes until people file a complaint about there side effects ## HI I am so sick from generic Klonopin I am going through major withdrawel.. I found these capsules in my sons coat and want to know what they are. ## These tablets contain 25mgs of Hydroxyzine, it is an antihistamine that is used to treat allergic reactions, insomnia and to treat or prevent nausea and vomiting. Common side effects might include: dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and headache. More details: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## If it is a capsule then it is the pamoate version of hydroxyzine. Unlike the Hydrochloride version of hydroxyzine (Atarax,) Hydroxyzine pamoate (Vistaril) is used for drowzieness which is probably a cause for concern. Atarax is the version of hydroxyzine used for allergic reactions. I would be concerned your son is not using this for allergys.

I am taking 2mg Ativan for insomnia. I wake up very dizzy and I feel like that till mid afternoon. What can I do ## Hello, Fabrizio! How are you? It sounds like you may be on too high of a dosage. Have you discussed it with your doctor? You may need to try a lower dose. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. ## Did you try Melatonin? Or Valerian root.. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valerian_(herb) Stay away from drugs ending on - Pam. They are benzodiazepines...and may ruin your life with addiction and foggy brain.

I can tell you that it is the appropriate medication to treat H. Pylori, but the only way to know if it will resolve the problem for you is to try it and see. My boyfriend took 4 (of the zc02) promethazine tablets. He is restless and can't sleep. He says he can't breath and that everything seems closed in. He doesn't want medical attention and I don't know what to do... ## Hi Pam, I'm so sorry to hear about the condition your boyfriend is in. How has everything been going since the timing of your post (5/6/2017)? -Much better I hope... Did you end up having to call poison control or take him into the local emergency room? I realize he didn't want medical attention so I'd just be curious to know how the situation was handled and if he's doing well now, as from what I understand, Promethazine reportedly has strong sedative effects. My doctor wants to take me off Xanax. I have taken 1mg 3 times a day for 10 years. I take it for my anixity disorder as well as a relaxant for my skeletal muscle disorder. I need to know the names of medicines that will work the same as the xanax and that my body won't go into withdrawl. I've already lost my pain medicine last month now he wants to quit writing my Xanax. ## They say Klonopin and I did try two. Seems to work but almost the same stuff ## @con71446, There are a number of other benzo-class drugs on the market outside of Xanax. Some affect people differently than others based on their varying half-life's and sheer potency. But certain medications ending in "pam" (such as Diazepam, Lorazepam, Clonazepam/Klonopin as mentioned, etc..) seem to me like they wo...

I had Reclast before under other insurance, the pamphlet Dr. gave me said it would cost me $60. But I was charged about $700 out of $4900( included Reclast and the charge of the use of the infusion center ) they charged to my insurance. It was a surprise. I am supposed to have another one but this time, I am under Medicare. I tried to get how much the Reclast infusion would cost me this time but no one seems to know!! I called Dr's office, they referred me to the infusion center, then they passed my call to the St. Luke's billing office, after several transfers, I ended up with an answering machine. I left the message but no return calls. Anyway, I am so fed up with this search. So I wonder anyone has any idea of the cost under Medicare here in Allentown PA? I know Medicare will pa

Could you tell me what this ingredients are in this medication? ## I bought a bottle of Eritromicina in Mexico for my husband's tooth problem. Will it help with inflamed gums too? ## @Kidcurrey, Eritromicina translates to Erythromycin, which is an antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections (typically used to treat bacteria responsible for causing infections of the skin and upper respiratory tract). It may help inflamed gums if the cause is bacterial overgrowth, but I would ask a doctor or dentist just to be sure. @Pam, Gentromicina translates to Gentamicin, which is also an antibiotic. But it is typically used to treat more severe kinds of infections such as bone infections, endocarditis, pelvic inflammatory disease, meningitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and se...

I take hydromorphone, both long and short acting, and diazepam plus many other drugs for chronic pain issues and anti rejection of a kidney. Recently, they started drug screening of all patients and my first test showed up saying I took Xaxax and another sedative like diazepam, ending the same, but a different one and I don't and never have taken Xanax or the other sedative. Could just the diazepam trigger results for other sedatives? I am really perplexed send concerned as I only take what is prescribed to me, and in the proper doses and I have 2 false positives for Xanax and another sedative ending pam. Anyone know why?
