Drug That End With Am
100+ Topics FoundI'm trying to figure out what a med was called that I took I was a yellow gel cap with a purple ring Arround it and it ended in pam ## Hi Chuck, Do you have any idea what "type" of medication it was? What it was prescribed or used for? A lot of drug names come to mind that end in 'pam', specifically benzodiazepines/anti-anxiety meds such as diazepam, lorazepam, clonazepam, and temazepam. So this is what I tend to think of right off the bat. However I'm not particularly aware of how each tablet or capsule is being supplied and their specific color schemes for certain dosages. Never-the-less, it seems to me that the drug category of benzodiazepines is most common when it comes to meds that end in 'pam'. So you may just need to double check on that with a ph...
1 REPLY Filed under DiazepamI'm taking a medical transcription course and I'm having trouble hearing a word. 8 mg isn't a common dose for most drugs, so I'm hoping someone can offer some suggestions. The word in question seems to end in did but sounds like it begins with a C or K possibly. My first thought was Dilaudid, and the medication could be for pain as it's for a post bone marrow transplant, but it really just doesn't sound like the speaker is saying that at all. ## I am sorry, I am really not finding anything else that has that dosage and ends with did. Dialudid does have an 8mg dosage, as well as several other medications, like Atacand for blood pressure. Does anyone else have any ideas?
1 REPLY Filed under DilaudidI have had the lortab 10mh & 5mg prescribed, but had 1 lose in my safe and it ends with aM3 , It's white and oval could just be hydorcone, but they are the same. Also would like to ask why and I see others have wondered why they quit making the blue tabs? they were stronger and help the disabled and hurting a lot better. ## Hello, Freckles! How are you? Can you please post back with the full imprint on the tablet? That is what would enable it to be identified, it is very difficult to try to do so from just a partial imprint. Thank you! Learn more Lortab details here. And the blue ones were changed to remove the dye from them, due to some people being sensitive or allergic to the dyes that were used. Any that contain more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose are also being change...

Thanks!! ## Hi JMAR, Unfortunately I haven't been able to find an exact match, the closest match I've found is Captopril (12.5 mg); a white round pill with the imprint 721 Endo. Just like the pill I found, I do believe your pill was most likely manufactured by Endo Pharmaceuticals. I'll post a link to the contact page of their website down below so that, if you'd like, you can ask them about your pill. endo.com/contact Learn More: Captopril Details I hope this helps! Please post back if you have any more questions.

2 REPLIES Filed under AcetaminophenIn the 70s there was an OTC analgesic you could buy for pain. It was not Aspirin or Tylenol. It began with the letter "E". (It wa not a compound; Excedrin.). I have been wracking my brains to no avail. Thanks in advance. ## Somebody saw this question on our Facebook page and is suggesting: "Empirin # 4". Does that ring a bell? ## Yes it does, and was my first thought. I guess I thought the medication was an aspirin alternative, so when I looked up Emperin and saw that It IS asprin I wondered if there was another answer. Thanks for the reply! ## Empirin ## There's a narcotic beginning with an E called Endocet (Percocet) for pain.
4 REPLIES Filed under AspirinI take endocet 10/325 on a daily basis for back pain and more so, nerve damage, that after a noninvasive back surgery procedure I had, in my legs. My right leg is very weak and after standing about 5 minutes my left leg goes numb from the knee to my foot. I have been taking for about 3 yrs now and they do seem to help; especially in the AM when I get up...cannot move without taking 1, have tried many times. Have not taken more than prescribed and on some days I do take less; depending on what I am doing that day. My question: does this mean I am addicted? ## On the first question, Endocet contains two active ingredients, the narcotic Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, to help it work better. 2 REPLIES Filed under Oxycodonei am looking for a drug store who has a quantity of 240 Endocets 10/325 yellow within or near zip code 08052 ## I found a pharmacy-locator site, that uses your zip code to find nearby pharmacies within a given mile range. There's roughly 25 different pharmacies within 10miles of your zip code based on this: Phone numbers and addresses are included in the list after you verify your zip code; so I would suggest calling a number of them to see if anyone can fill your prescription. You may have to consider getting a few smaller prescriptions from different places to fit your need if no one has 240 available. Hope this helps! ## i can only use endocet as the fillers in the other brands make an allergic reaction, living in zip code 98034 ## I'm looking for a pharmacy that carries qual...
6 REPLIES Filed under EndocetI found a bottle of yellow round pills with endo imprinted on one side and a score on other. Some think is percodans from back in the day. Print on bottle is faded. Does anyone have any info on them? Can't find anything on the net other than two other people searching for info on same pill description? ## Hello, not50! How are you? I'm sorry, but I'm not finding anything definitive, so far. However, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. But it may be difficult, if they are no longer being manufactured. Does anyone else know more?
1 REPLY Filed under PercodansI take 1 OxyCod/acetaminophen 7.5-325 mg tab would 1.5 tab hurt I still feel some pain knee surgery. ## Hello, Ken! How are you? Yes, they both contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, Endocet is just a brand name for it. It would be best not to raise your dosage, unless your doctor approves. Have you consulted them, yet? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
1 REPLY Filed under Oxycodonewhite tablet 602 ## Based on the description provided, I found the pill to be Endocet; which is a combination of Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Oxycodone (5 mg), used to treat moderate to severe pain. 4 REPLIES Filed under CiproThe pill has three score lines and in the center two there is 1 1 ## Hello, Shaunta! How are you? This tablet contains 2mgs of Alprazolam, it is a generic for Xanax. This is a benzodiazepine, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Learn more Xanax details here. 1 REPLY Filed under AlprazolamI found half of a white round tablet it ends with N on one side and looks like it ends with 5 (possibly) and 8 definitely on the other. Found on the floor in my home just trying to id if possible thanks! ## The closest match to that (but could be something else) is a pill that says DAN on one side and 5658 on the other side, if that sounds like it might be right? That's Cyclobenzaprine HCL 10mg. It's a non narcotic muscle relaxer typically prescribed for muscle spasms, migraines, sciatica etc. the other closest match is OTC Claritin.

1 REPLY Filed under AspirinI need help with methamphetamine dependence. I would like to know if there is any kind of med I could take to help get off of this drug? ## I am not a doctor by no means, but try taking an anxiety med like klonopin 2mgs every 6 hours, trazodone, or valium 10 mg every 6hours if you can. I don't know how bad your addiction is but that may not be the way to go. If you have a bad addiction, you may want to consider going to a clinic to get suboxone. Please don't do it alone. There is always help for what you are going through. I wish you well. ## Nerak, I have just now read your question regarding your addiction. I hope that you have found help by now. 1 REPLY Filed under SeroquelKlonopin, or clonazepam is one of the hardest drugs to get off of. I have seen this in hospital settings as a nurse myself and as a patient of this horrible drug. Benzodiazepines should never have been invented. I have been on this med for 3 years now, and cannot handle the withdrawal affects no longer than one month. I wish the doctor would have warned me of how dependent your brain and the central nervous system relies on this med only after even 2 months of taking this. I have been advised by doctors to slowly shave the pill down over a period of a year if needed, and then I have had some doctors tell me that may never be able to get off of this drug ever!! Withdrawal symptoms include for myself a feeling of anxiety and panic constantly, never-ending, shaking, hot and cold, no appeti...
