Thus, the only thing I can advise is checking with your doctor to see if it's safe for you to take and following the package instructions. Several yrs. ago I went to sub. dr. for opiot dependancy. He started me on one and half strips per day. The strips read 8mg-2mg. He weaned me down and I got off them. Not gonna get into story but I got messed up on pills again and went back to dr. yesterday. I told him I have a different insurance now and they won,t pay for suboxone so I,d be paying out of pocket. He prescribed the Subutex pill 2mg and said to take one and a half per day which is 3mg. He said this is same dose I started on back when I took the strips. I thought I was starting off at 12mg. last time with strips. This got me very confused. I guess I don,t know what the 8mg-2mg means on the strips. I have been taking 325 mg of hydrocodone, only "as needed". A recent trip to hospital & Dr. there gave me a prescription for 15mg morphine. Which one is stronger?
