I picked up my usual prescription for Percoset and it was obvious when I opened the bottle that it was not the same manufacturer, as my medication has always been oblong white capsules by Mallinckrodt (which I just found out from my pharmacy - CVS - who aren't willing to do anything without speaking with my doctor). Anyway, I have been telling my boyfriend all weekend that these were not working and I have had to take more than prescribed. I have been in constant pain for over 3 years and I know my body well enough and my schedule well enough to know that these do not alleviate my pain unless doubled. I am FURIOUS because I never would have questioned the manufacturer thinking, as a layman in pharmaceuticals, that the ingredients would be the same but their NOT. My weekend has been ...

It doesn"t have apap in the decription. Please help me. ASAP - I feel something is wrong. ## Hi, Babydoll! Sorry about the confusion. No, there is no difference in the medication, Alvogen is just another manufacturer of generic medications. what's the difference in the different shapes and colors and printed numbers on Percocets? ## Hi Sharon, A round yellow pill marked with "C 230" is reported to be a generic version of Percocet containing 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mgs of Acetaminophen, used for moderate to severe pain. And this particular pill is manufactured by a company called Alvogen.
