Drug Enforcement Agency

The Drug Enforcement Agency is making it very hard on doctors to prescribe pain medicine such as oxycodone, oxycontin, percocet and even hydrocodone. They have set new rules that go into effect May of 2016, that's this month. Unless you have a serious condition and have been on these meds for the treatment of your pain it will no longer be easy peasy getting the appropriate pain relief you need from a general practitioner... If you have sciatica with burning down the legs into the feet I suggest seeing a neurologist to treat your pain... Avoid a pain management clinic for now (until the dust settles from the new rules) if that's you I described.. A neurologist will order a emg, mri, and even a CT Scan. These will show your issues and justify a slow moderate increase in your pref...

Subutex doctors in Phoenix, AZ - please and thanks ## Hi Sylvia, According to an article on FDA.gov, "Only qualified doctors with the necessary DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) identification number are able to start in-office treatment for Subutex/Suboxone and provide prescriptions for ongoing medication. CSAT (Center for Substance Abuse Treatment) will maintain a database to help patients locate qualified doctors." You can browse through the CSAT's database of doctors here: buprenorphine.samhsa.gov/bwns_locator It looks like there's quite a few options in the Phoenix area. Hope this helps! ## Southwest behavioral health on 7th ave and the 17. ## hey was up, just wanted to ask did u get any subutex from the doc in phx az? cuz im tryn to quit H n i really need a doc. plz {e...

I learned that people who enter a hospice are ALSO excluding themselves from local law enforcement authority. The authority over the death certificate switches from local coroner to the hospice worker who answers to the Regional Office for the Center of Medicare/caid. (A federal agency...even though the hospice patient may not be on Medicare!!!! The hospice worker only has to accept fed money from someone whom you don't even know, and THIS makes the CMS in complete control.) For me in Wisconsin, this office is in Chicago, Illinois. The person in charge at the CMS has NO MEDICAL training whatsoever. I spoke personally with my local coroner who confirmed this. He told me that should there be any question on the death, he was not allowed to enter into any hospice situation. So, a hospi...

I never had a problem going to any pharmacy and getting my prescription filled. Now CVS Drug chain states they can't fill it because "They are at their threshold"? What?? Smiths Food and Drug Pharmacies who I could always count on are always out stating "We've gone through our monthly allotment" What?? Does anyone know what morphine withdrawals are like? Just give me a shot gun please!!! Where can I go in Henderson, Nevada to get my medication to just take the edge off of my pain? I can't find a Pain Management Dr to prescribe what I've been taking for years and gives me some quality of life. The Ignorant Pain Management Dr I see monthly now cut my Percocet from 180 ct. to 120 ct. monthly and blamed the (DEA) Drug Enforcement Agency who claims to have don...

I have found a white round tablet P20 embossed on one side the other side scored in half - what is it and what would it be taken for please? ## Hello, The closest match I've been able to find is Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Oxycodone hydrochloride (5 mg). It is a white round pill with the imprint IP over 203 on the front and a score on the back. Maybe the I and the 3 got rubbed off at some point? Manufacturer: Amneal Pharmaceuticals National Drug Code (NDC): 53746-0203 The combination Acetaminophen + Oxycodone (North American trade name Percocet, generic endocet) is a narcotic pain reliever used to treat moderate to severe acute (short-term) pain, marketed by Endo Pharmaceuticals.[1] It is regulated as a schedule 2 narcotic by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). Common side effects may i...

I use to take 10-325 of Percocet 5 times a day. My new doctor lowered the dosage to 3times a day. Saying I was takin too much. I had bad withdrawal and ended up in the hospital. I now take 3 10-325 along with 500mg of tyenol to control my pain. Even with that amount I'm still in a lot of pain. What should i do, I feel like my doctor is not listening to me. I feel the only reason he lower the dosage was because the CDC is being hard on them. I'm in pain all day long. ## The CDC is the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, they do not regulate drugs, or prescription medications. They work on getting control of outbreaks of dangerous diseases, preventing their spread, and etc. I believe you may be thinking of the DEA, which is the Drug Enforcement Agency. They are the ones tha...
