I JUST BEGAN THE NEW PRESCRIPTION DRUG FOR FIBROMYALGIA THIS WEEK CALLED SAVELLA IN PILL FORM. MY BLOOD PRESSURE HAS RISEN FROM AN AVERAGE OF 122/70 TO 155/85. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM? My name Gloria. 75 years. Have High blood pressure For years prescribed Pharmapress 20 mg. Atenolol 50mg and Ridac water pill. Dr took away Ridac and replaced it with Amlodipine5mg once a day. My ankles look swollen and i am putting on weight. Dr said the Ridac takes away the Calcium out of my bones. I really feel I should be taking the waterpill. Please advice urgently. So fortunately, you may have to talk to your doctor about discontinuing it anyways if the swelling doesn't subside. My brother has been told he has High Output Heart Rate. He now has a feeding tube and only weights 121 lbs. He is on oxygen and struggles to breathe. Drs at UNC and DUKE hospital can not find out what causes the HOHR. He has no problems or diseases with his heart other than the HOHR. All his blood work looks fine. I am 24 years old . Diagnosed with Hypertension during february 12. Have been on multiple drug prescription . Longest being TAH 80H (Telimarstan & amolodipine besilate (5 mg) ) . BP was 148/90 average that time sometimes went down to 135/70 . From last 1 month taking ESLO-D (S-Amolodipine 2.5 mg) BP is averaging 145/100 goint to high of 150/100 & lowest of 140/90. My mom received 2 doses of kadcyla. However her bilirubin count shot up to 2.98 & is unable to continue the treatment. Can u help? ## From what I've read, bilirubin is a yellowish pigment found in bile (a fluid made by the liver). Apparently, it is normal to have some bilirubin in your blood. However, normal levels are reportedly in the range of 0.3 to 1.9 mg/dL The article below discusses various tests that are done to measure the amount of bilirubin in the blood (and what it means to have high levels of it): nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003479.htm In some patients, different types of cancer medication (such as kadcyla) could just end up doing more harm than good. I am 37 years old and i was taking Telvas 40 mg from last one year because of high B.P. Now for the last month i have been taking Nebicard 5mg, and my B.P. is normal. I have been happily receiving the benefits from TESTOPEL pellets implantation now for almost four (4) years. In the last few months, a doctor called me at home @ 8:30 p.m. which surprised me to say the least. He was both alarmed and concerned because the lab test I had done the day prior showed an unhealthy high level in my hemoglobin. It was 19.8. I am a 70-year-old male.
