I am new to the Gainesville/Denton, Texas area and need to find a doctor to prescribe these meds. I'm in my 30's but look very young so I'm never taken seriously. If I don't find a Dr soon I'll be out of meds and dont want to send medical records cos of my last doctor finding pot on my system. ## You are in Florida. Must have been much easier when the Pain Stores were all over Florida, need an OXY find a Strip Mall, need a Xanax, go to the pill store. Without new current medical records you are not going to get these meds on demand, although stay looking young my friend! ## Oh crap Texas, well the basic answer is the same, just a different State and no Pill Mills ## Supposedly doctors aren't allowed to prescribe Xanax if you are on Norco. Anyone out there having ...

why has the price increased from my cost $17.00 to $44.00, is this price gouging ? ## Hello, Norm! How are you? And no, it is simply due to supply and demand. Since the dosages with the higher amounts of Acetaminophen have been removed from the market, there is more of a demand for the doses with the 325mgs in them. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hello. How long would one 10/325 vicodin work in my body before being excreted? I weigh 125 lbs

where can I find hydrocodone 10 in stock in Henderson, nv ## Unfortunately, there is no listing of pharmacies according to what they do or do not have in stock that I can refer to for you. Such a database would be very dynamic and difficult to keep updated, if there were. Additionally, we are also into the time of year, where shortages regularly occur due to mandatory manufacturing limits on controlled substances. Once a manufacturer reaches their yearly allotted limit, they can't produce any new product, until after the new year. Inevitable, demand exceeds supply and shortages occur for the last few months of the year. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipati...

Anyone know of a Florida pharmacy that is filling written prescriptions for hydrocodone? Have not been able to fill for almost a month. I live in St. Lucie county. What the neck is going on? ## I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. This medication was changed to a schedule 2 drug at the beginning of October, which created a delay shipping it to pharmacies due to necessary labeling changes. On top of that, we are into the time of year when there is almost always a shortage of controlled substances, due to mandatory manufacturing limits. Once a manufacturer reaches their limit for the year, they can not manufacture new product, until the new year. Every year that I can remember, demand has exceeded supply and resulted in shortages. This is a narcotic analgesic, so i...

I have been taking Tizanidine 12mg at night and 4 mg in the morning for over 3 months and have been experiencing some alarming abnormal dreams that caused Hallicinations. It seems the Hallicinations occur when I am already tired and then take my normal medication dose at night. Until last night the Hallicinations never caused me to jump out of bed in extreme fright. I typically remember when I have the hallucinations and they always frighten me. The Hallicinations are always thinking someone is in my room and I always demand "who are you?". Last night when the same thing occurred I actually jumped physically out of bed and tried to escape my room past the hallucinated "person" and remember having difficulty getting out the door of my room. I made it out and it seemed at ...

I am starting a 10 month program for BCC, and I have a physically demanding job, with a lot of traveling involved. Will I still be able to work and travel while taking this medication? ## This contains the active ingredient Vismodegib and it is very new to the market, having only been approved at the end of January of this year. Thus, this type of information isn't available, yet. Learn more Vismodegib details here. This often happens when drugs are new to be approved, because no one has used them under real world conditions, such as working in such a manner. Have you discussed it with your doctor? How severe is your BCC? ## Started with the medication 7th July, and untill now I feel some small differences in my body-balance, but not that much that blocks it me in my daily work. The...

After 10 years of attempting to gain weight its failed every time. I see all these people who have shared the same problem. Us skinny people need to stick together and demand justice for being ignored of our unhappiness. Some people cannot gain weight simply with diet and exercise the same way obese people cannot lose weight with diet and exercise as well. Its our bodies our choice of what we want. Im 28 5'3 and always could never get passed 105 ended up dislocating my knee cap and having back problems due to my lack of weight and body mass. After my first child i went from 117 to 103 in a week lost my breasts butt and curves in general im extremely angry to the fact that i have to fight and push doctors to finally do something but enough is enough im going to demand (not ask) demand f

There seems to be some demand for a GLYX-13 discussion (now known as Rapastinel) so I would like to start one here. ## Great! Do u need me to help notify everyone who has written about it? Especially because two people are currently in studies! ## Yeah that would be great, the link to here is posted in the other thread but if you have a way to get ahold of them that would be good. ## From what I could gather, GLYX-13 is said to be a molecular cousin to "ketamine", inducing similar antidepressant properties without the common street drug side effects. This info was reported from a study funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) that was published this past April 2013 in Neuropsychopharmacology. I think other's who may be in the following Ketamine discussion thr...

Why is the 100 mg tablet of Amiodarone about $200 for a 30 day supply at retail, when the 200 and 400 mg tablets are about $20 and $30 respectively? I became aware of this when my father, who does not have Schedule D coverage, was prescribed Amiodarone. There seems to be price gouging going on. Some manufacturer must have a monopoly on the 100 mg size. Is it Usher Smith? Let's look into this! ## Hello, Otis! How are you? The only explanation I can provide you is supply and demand, or because they can. The U.S. is one of the few countries that does not regulate prescription drug prices, so it is very common for the drugs, or dosages, that are in high demand to cost more than others. Given that the higher doses are cheaper, it might be best to ask his doctor about prescribing one of t...

And if you manage to find someone, them prescribing you the same meds as you were taking before is highly doubtful. Pain Management Dr are in great demand. I've probably tried every available treatment and Axiron has been more effective with absorption and boosted my levels more than any other treatment, including injections. Are the oxymorphone half moons still being dispensed? My pharmacy changed back and forth twice from moons to g's and now just g's for a while. The problem is the cost increased by hundreds of dollars. I live in Biloxi. My pharmacy told me that this is the only brand being sold right now. Is this true? If so I may need to see about switching pain meds. My insurance does not cover oxymorphone at all. ## Hello, Kaysha! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Many medications have gone up, a lot, in price, though I can't give a valid reason as to why this happened, other than possibly supply and demand. How to rid myself from this ## I am Phensedyl addicted since last 10 years. Intially i took 50 m.l. per day and now i am taking 300 to 400 m.l. a day. This contains Promethazine, Ephedrine and Codeine and the Codeine is a narcotic, which can be highly addictive and very hard to stop taking on your own. KDur or Klor Con has been around for many many years but still is very expensive. It is more costly than some newer meds that do not have generics. How is this possible? Is this a question of greed on the part of pharmacies. This is a frequently ordered drug. ## Hello, Jean! How are you? Actually, it's not as frequently ordered as most. It is only ordered when someone's potassium is dangerously low, otherwise, it's not safe for someone to take it. Thus, the demand for it is actually low, so very few companies manufacture it, since it isn't very profitable to do so. In order to make any money back on their investment, the companies that do can't afford to give it a cheap price. I'm sorry, I do understand what a burden it is, when something is expensive, but these ...

i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you. ## Well, the main problem is really when you go in and ask for a specific medication, in a specific dosage. Many doctors will look at this as drug seeking behavior. Whenever you see a new doctor, you need to make certain that you don't demand specific treatment, but you do want to take your medical records with you, or see that copies are sent to them. That way, they can see what has and hasn't worked for you in the past, plus they can see the results from any prior tests you've...

I just wanted to let people know that I felt the vets did a poor job of believing the secondary symptoms of zonisamide. My dog, Ivy, has been having seizures for over a year now and we started with phenobarb, which she is still on, Zonisamide about eight months ago. The Zonisamide made a small difference in the primary seizures but she started having dry mouth and coughing almost immediately, then after several months, reddish patches on her left side and sores inside on the right side of her mouth (much less on the left side of her mouth). Three or four different vets tried to tell me she was just going to bleed out and I should put her down. I demanded that we start Lyrica and gradually take her off the Zonisamide. Lyrica is more expensive, but I have found that the improvement is wel...

How are you? I'm sorry that you're having a problem finding your medication. Actually, there is usually a shortage for the last few months of the year, due to mandatory manufacturing limits. Once a manufacturer reaches their allotted yearly limit, they cannot manufacture any new product, until after the new year. Every year, demand exceeds supply and we end up with a shortage.
