I had pains simillar 2 period pains that followed my period, and a brownish odourless discharge. I went to see a Dr who gave me doxytet to use. I was not told what the problem is, and am breastfeeding. i need to know what my problem is and what 2 do about the breastfeeding. ## Hi Olu! If you will be on it for a long term, then you may want to avoid breast feeding while taking it, because this class of antibiotics has been known to cause staining of the tooth buds of developing infants and children and this staining is permanent.
