i was prescribed this for a vaginal bacteria infection. since i have been taking it i have experienced itching in this region and almost feels sensitive and swollen. is this normal? am i allergic? ## Unfortunately, while Doxycycline is an antibiotic that can treat bacterial infections, it can cause a fungal yeast infection, as a side effect. Antibiotics will not do anything to treat a cold, they are only effective at treating bacterial infections and colds are caused by a viral infection, so if it was prescribe, it was most likely for the sinus infection. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

It says two times a day. Is that no less than 12 hours close, or can it be 11 or 10 to switch the time of day around some. It is hard to stay up until 1 am. Have about 7 1/2 more days to take this. Thus, if you really want to enjoy the sunshine, it would be best to be very careful and use a heavier sunscreen than you normally would. Can Benadryly be taken with this medication as I feel I am having a reaction, rash, numbness in fingers? ## The numbness is not a normal side effect and you should have that checked out.
